I thought about it,but the heads aren't really all that good. They really don't offer much detail beyond the 1:18 Joe heads that are already available,so unless it's for a specific custom I just don't see the point at this time.

I'm spoiled by the detail in these McFarlane The Walking Dead figures, and have started picking up the assassin's creed figures for the same reason. With a patient hand, and a good brush some really nice realistic sculpts are to be had in that line! I've already got two of them, and they are exquisitely detailed figures! Plus they're not instantly recognizable as a specific actor or character,so they should work really well with the kind of customs I like.

What a pain in the fucking ass! Fought mold problems in every stage on this hair,it is SO thin now! Total shrink was 50-55% range. The head is tiny now! that hair makes it look big! lol.

Got these, and started over from scratch on the gasmask riot gear Walker

I was successful in shrinking Glenn's riot gear webgear to Joe size as well,so I'll have some serious looking riot gear walkers in a week or so to post up.

The helmet came right off of the one for me. It's the same helmet that comes with Eugine if anyone was curious about that? I assumed it was,and waited on these to start him as well. I've also successfully shrank several of their slinged weapons. I dismantled them, and cast the slings in webgear material. I used the Joe equivalents as a size guide on rick's AK,and terminis Carol's rifle.

I'm sure KT will jump in on this...but don't use Joe guns as a size equivalent. They're mostly always too large. It's by a small margin, but still too big.

I'm just going with looks good at this stage. The fucking figures aren't even correctly proportioned like real people. The shitll drive ya nuts if you get too carried away. Looks good is good enough for guns IMO. The scales are all over the place on these McFarlane parts

Awesome work on Ripley!!

Meh. I'm going to run the shrink on the step before this one a tad smaller. On the ROC Scarlett torso the hair gets in the way of getting it on the peg. It's correct for my default retaliation lady jaye torso tho.

I tried working on this before, didn't like the way it was going and decided to scrap it. Then I ran across the image that inspired me to do the first version and got the itch to try again. So far I think I'm heading in the right direction.

The image is this...

I'm trying to get a humanoid looking robot...mostly a humanoid "trunk" with robotic legs, head and arms.

Here's what I've got...

Forget the COBRA emblem on the chest, I'll be painting over that, this isn't meant for GI Joe. I'm also trying to use parts I have on hand, and that's pretty limited. The lower arms I think are o.k., my only other option are some War Machine lowers with GI Joe hands. The legs I can either choose between what you see or some SW super battle droid legs.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Nice. Black Ops 3 has this figure..I wouldn't mind having an army of for future war dios.

The legs of this are in for molding right now, so I should hopefully have both a male, and female Reactive impact figure in the store tomorrow night

I always hated the spindly lower arms, and the baggy pants lower legs the RiA male figures had. The RiA Scarlet had a much more armored look to her lower legs, and lower arms.

For shits&giggles,...

I made riot gear helmet&body armor in two sizes. These are the larger size, and the helmet does fit Glenn's head. The smaller size fits the shocktrooper buck, and the riot gear walker's heads...once I get them tooled up,and cast in colors I'll post them up too.

Meh,the shocktrooper stuff is way more cool IMO. It's for the whole Walking dead thing on this one.

Also got this done..still working out the legs. I need a ML Shamna to shrink down the feet for too.

If there is a skirt, then you HAVE to make it vagatomically correct! At worst, it gets painted and looks like best case of cameltoe I have EVER seen!

I have considered sculpting the FT20, and FT25, but that might be a little too much.

Anyway here's what's on my work bench:

Looking forward to getting them painted up. I have a Zoom head that I recently sculpted, and molded that should be in the store in the next few days, and it'll be on a black cast of the armored body w/ the claw hands.

I started posing Flash, and Thawne "racing", but I thought that having Thawne turned around as if to say you can't even catch me if I'm running backwards fit him better.

Well right now I have the build a figure deal going:

@ $10 you get the head
@ $20 you get the hands, and feet
@ $30 you get the torso
@ $40 you get the arms
@ $50 you get the legs
@ $60 it starts all over so every $50 you spend gets you a free figure. This could allow you to build some squads fairly quickly as it's basically a buy 2 get 1 free for figure kits.
