Allow me to ruin that magic.
That line wasn't in the script. It was only during editing that comic that I realized that I'd forgotten to put Recondo in it, and seeing as how he wasn't in the team the went in the Jungle Explorer, he had to be with those who stayed with the Jeep.
So I ad-libbed in that line as a throwaway gag to explain why he didn't appear in the issue. :trollface: Sometimes, the shit I make up at the last minute is better than the stuff I planned out.
