After a few months in captivity, the apes had Flygirl so domesticated that they knew she would be no danger to them. They began to train her for daily hunting expeditions. She was given some gear:
1. Back Pack- Holds packages of food the apes give her, mostly nuts.
2. Spear- Used to bring down deer and boar for hungry Cobra Troops. She is not allowed to eat meat by her masters. She is fed a purely vegetarian diet.
3. Leash/Chain- She has become so domesticated by her ape masters, she follows them willingly most of the time.
4. Silver Leg/Thigh/Wrist Bands- Cast of pure silver. Contain GPS and other tracking devices so the apes and Cobra know where she is.
5. Supply belt- Contains bags of fruits and veggies the apes give her to eat. Commonly given to her: Chopped bananas, Cherries, Figs, sliced apples, sliced peaches, and grapes.
Once she has donned her gear, Caeser kindly demonstrates how to thrust the spear for the hunt.
Caeser- Alright, my pretty pet. This is proper spear thrusting technique.
She tried several times, but couldn't get it right. So, he showed her again.
Once she had gotten her thrusts right, the apes explained to her the rules of the hunt she and Caeser were going on:
Maurice: The rule book says this, my dear:
1) You will follow Caeser's lead at all times. The hunt will last three days.
2) You will not eat any meat on your way. We will supply you with plenty of vegetarian fair before the hunt begins. There will be more than enough grapes, nuts, bananas and other fruits and veggies in your bag to eat with Caeser.
3) The beasts killed will be put in your pack and transported to Cobra supply depots. Once they are there, a truck will arrive to take the stored food to the troops.
4) Once the hunt is done, you will return to Ape Villa with Caeser. Understood?
Flygirl: Yes, Master.
Luka: Then, let the hunt begin.
