R/C with 34 inch wingspan: no, not at 39.99
control line: no, for something at 34 inch wingspan, the engine would cost 39.99(or more), especially if the birds is heavy plastic. The guy said it was true heroes. With that said, I could be completely and totally wrong on all points I just said.

Too true. As it stands, the choices we're left with is GI Joe, PTE, The Corps, and True Heroes... unless we want to hunt down and pay big money for something off of evilbay.. or we get lucky finding something dug up someplace or from someone who doesn't know what it is really that they have. My Apache for instance.. basically I bought it for like 15 bucks.
Yeah, it is what it is. Hopefully people like Pickelhaube can find a way to bring costs down, as he makes great real 1:18th stuff, but its priced out of the current market unfortunately.

I'm just sad that I got into this hobby at the tail end of things. Hopefully if the economy ever improves, we might see things pick back up. But for now I have what I have, supplementing it little by little where I can. If I had known what I could have gotten a few years ago, I'd have a lot more for the same amount of money than I do now.
So true. I didn't know this stuff would get so expensive. Thats why I only bought one of the supercobras and hueys and spitfires. I got 2 spits now, But I would have loved to have all 3 hueys and both supercobras plus a few brids to customize
Yep. Thats the main reason I don't want to sell off any of the MIB stuff.. it'd be impossible to get any of it again at this point.

Worst of it is.. not even as big inside as the 'Osprey' or the 'Sea Knight'. At least those two can fit a classic/25th Stinger/Vamp inside.
