The WalMart near me still hasn't restocked Joe. And it's doesn't sound like they will for a while either (from talking to management there).

Yeah, I found new Joes at Target last night, and they were like $9.77 or something ridiculous. I actually found my last 2 troop-builders I was looking for, as $10 is still cheaper than I'd get them online, and luckily at the register, they didn't ring up... So they asked the price, and I said $8 (should've gone lower! Dolt!), so I got them for the old, too-high price.
No wonder they don't sell well, $10 for a damned kid (or parent) to spend is way too expensive. I balk at the Star Wars and Marvel prices for single figs and comic packs... And those are the hot ticket items right now. At least the Joes come with decent accessories.

I picked up Recondo and Dusty today for shits and giggles at Wally. They were $6.97 to boot.
My Target still has Joes at $7.99.

still no joes in my wal-mart, not that it matters because even if Wal-Mart was carrying them they'd be way too expensive, they'd barely be restocked, and most of the figures on the shelf would be crap peg warmers. Let's face it, GI Joe is dead, which is extremely sad because it was the only other place to turn after the 1/18 scale hobby crashed and burned. at least we still have PTE and Unimax to some degree, I say get all the stuff you can from those two lines because at this pace they'll be gone too.
