I picked up one of these Jada 1:18 Godfather cars a while ago at TJ Maxx. I plan to make it into a staff car. I don't know if it will be accurate, but it should look cool.

Here it is primed up:

That's badass. I'd love to build a model car again... Haven't built one from scratch since I was a young teen. I bought a kit a few years back to build a miniature of my custom Civic from high school, but then lost it and never got back around to replacing it.

Eventually, I'll probably make one.

So was that just one of those 1:18 diecast cars that you're repainting? It looks slick from the factory. Does that Brando figure come with the one you have?

Looking good so far. I would have kept the car how it was and used it as a car for Destro prolly :)

Can't wait to see it when it's done.

If you are airbrushing, alclad chrome would do the trick, or bare metal foil. It's looking good though!

Tough call. Either way, I'm sure however you present the final product it will look fitting

I got the decals on. These decals were just the left overs from my Dragon Wagon. I was trying to stretch them out to make this car, the truck and a Greyhound. Like an idiot, I spilled the water on the sheet and ruined the ones I had for the staff car. I had to rob the stars from a model plane kit. I have also lost my needle nosed tweezers and I had a rough time getting these decals done. What a headache!

Wow, that's impressive. Now you need an Ike to go in there. He'll needs some flags though.

I was gonna just copy the flags on my 21st command car, but I can't get the darn things off.

Itty bitty smashing? You're talking to a Marine here. Smashing is all I know.

Might be why all my weapons were designed 100 years ago or well over 60 years old. They can put up with some smashing.

I finished the staff car. At some point I may go back and add flags on the front.

That turned out awesome! Even the figures look great with it, and I normally don't like those guys! The first pic is fantastic. Great job on the lighting man. (Not to mention the paint, etc.)

That turned out really good. Like the star on the trunk.

Again, to bad the figs can't in these 1:18 scale rides.

Sharper than a tack.

Still needs a W.A.C., though.
