THrow up some ideas guys besides the 160th emblem...generic numbers? Danger arrow for tail? dark grey? gloss black to go on the matte finish of the helicopter?

i'm saddened, but not at all surprized...remember how many complete idiots buy way overpriced readily available things from Mannny2000 or whatever his name is...
They aren't glossy on the real thing, so they shouldn't on the 1:18 version, either. SOAR markings are actually olive drab, not grey.
Lets face it everything now a days is going up in price. Hell, even lego sets are becoming outrageous. I'm certainly glad I kept my stash all these years. Maybe I'll try and pull a manny on ebay sometime and make some easy cash. lol

Well, that's good and bad. It's good because if they sell them all maybe they will make something else but bad because now they will just jack the price on whatever they make I would assume.
exactly...so its almost pointless...unless they make something completely new and fresh, they can suck it...i WILL NOT pay that much for simple upgrades and a repaint...a V-22?...hell yes!...a modified Apache?...suck my taint!
I still don't see why they couldn't of added in the clear plastic for the gunners window on both sides. Just doesn't look right in my opinion. Well.... heck, nothing a Dremel with a steady hand can't fix. lol

BBI was so close in getting it right too. I guess pickelhaube is still ahead of the game on this one.

I believe someone said the windows were fixed. Also, right about the fact you're a fag and should be using "fagbook" with the rest of us, Eddie.
If I didn't know any better I think Fled74's banner above was the final straw that broke the camels back in convincing BBI to go public with this re-release. While Pickelhaube is credited for starting this whole fiasco with the release of his aftermarket/custom kit. lol

Don't quote me as it has been a long time since I did my upgrade to my pavehawk, but I think it put me back at least $100 more (actually more cost for all the upgrade parts than the helo cost me originially when I bought it [$75] about 4 years ago.
I got:
the window inserts
the fuel probe
the mini guns (not the newer external mounts with external ammo cans, but believe both versions were same cost)
The FLIR
The Radome
The miniguns alone were around $35 at the time.
I still think it was worth it to have a unique helo and it was fun putting it all together.

From what I can tell looking at the image below it seems as if the FLIR system rotates up and down but not sure if it does the same left and right. Did Pickelhaube ever get his to rotate or is it casted as one piece?
