T.N.T. He's a bomb disposal tech that used the Blowtorch mold, just like this stinky queef of a figure.

Argentinian figure. I think I mentioned all that already. ;)

Well all the parts happened to be available. It's an exact copy of the original.

Accurate? Sure. Aesthetically pleasing? Not even remotely. Would it Camel Clutch the fuck out of the pegs if it was ejaculated onto store shelves? You bet your ass and half-a-titty.

Well, they are at least getting to the "I won't ever let go of the past" people. Hopefully that stuff stays in the club and off the shelves.

Quoted for truth. These same people must be shitting themselves that a new "Footloose" movie remake has recently been released, too.

I don't think the club sub is in my future. As of now, I will be selling every figure but one now. Just not worth it

Same here. Truthfully, there's no figure I would consider getting from the secondary market at more than $15 (we'll see about Covergirl)...

Maybe after catering to the die-hard fanboys this year, the Club might tone down the color palette and do some more realistic and attractive figures for next years subscription.

I doubt they will tone it down. They will continue to use what parts they have access to and keep building the ARAH line 13 figures at a time. Of course they will throw in a canceled figure on occasion. Just seems that this is going to be for the ones who wanted more out of the 25th anniversary line. It really doesn't go towards the casual collector like all 12 of us here. :D

I'll be fine with some Retaliation figures even if most of them suck. As long as there are a few other head sculpts and some decent bodies to use that's all I'll need. I rather support the brand instead of the club. I'm not really a fan of how they operate.

Frankly, the tooling they're using isn't half bad. I'm sure they can mix-and-match to make some great figures, especially (to give them credit) with the good job they are doing with the new head sculpts. It's the half-assed accessories and the bizarre colors they are choosing that's pushing me away.

I think the Club's great potential is still there, it's just not being well executed this round. They are catering to a type of collector...it's just not to our type.

*drinks whatever Egg Shen had in that gourd he was toting around*

I have a very positive feeling about this!

If this was Mattel we were talking about I'd be sure of it's suckitude. However, with the PoC sculptural detail, and what appears to be uniforms not stolen from Halo and a B-action flick from the 1990s, I feel that Hasbro is gonna give us some great figures, both on their own and as fodder.

I've not seen what Cobra is looking like, but it can't be much worse than Koopa Vipers.

Pretty much what I expected. Did anyone expect different???
Well not quite accurate. They did get his pants color wrong. (the Doc helmet is too small to fit on Blowtorch's head so that is why it is different.)
How does one mess up a straight repaint???

i was never gonna get the sub, but i'm with ya on only one being good...only one i'd spend money on is Topside, and even him i'm not super pleased with...

Just seems that this is going to be for the ones who wanted more out of the 25th anniversary line...

i wanted more out of the 25th line, but this far from what i wanted...this is a totally different group they are pandering too...

A Blowtorch head on a Shock Trooper would make for a better Surefire than what we're likely to see here.

Big Boa was pretty poor originally, and nothing shown leads me to believe that that's likely to change. That leaves Cover Girl.....

This^^

I wanted more 25th too but like Edward is saying... this is pandering to the "I buy anything Joe because I'm afraid that if I don't support everything I will get nothing" crowd.

Thing is, supporting the club won't help the line. All it helps is the club. So those thinking that buying this stuff will keep things going are just silly.

that's true but those same people fall into the category that will buy anything with the name gi joe on it

this sub service is far from what us "arah fags" want. This service has turned out to be a failure in my eyes

You're not fags. Just stuck in the past. :p It's cool to see figures made in new molds but the reuse of parts is getting nauseating. At some point they just have to go all out and try something new and stick with it. Shit, by the time they find a formula that works it will be the 35th anniversary.

And most that will dig the club stuff will buy anything. I guess someone has to be the financial whipping post for Hasbro. I just hope people don't confuse supporting the club as supporting the line. I'm sure there are some out there that have that mindset.

They just keep getting worse. I'm telling you, I was fairly certain that I'd get this subscription, and I probably still will, as I want at least half of them and they'll all be cheaper to get as a set than as a whole, but there are some MAJOR turds in there.

TNT or whatever is so uninspired, it's laughable. He's easily the worst yet, and I loathe the Nano-B.A.T.

you say we are stuck in the past witch is not totally true. yes we like to see the new molds used to update the old looks of our child hood. the thing is joe will always change and improve. since the 80s they have come along way. hell even from the 25th till now they have improved. yes reusing bad parts is getting old.

also some ppl think buying club shit helps the line and that is so far off base as the club is making it for them selves not the brand. Hasbro has tried new things and some where a good idea and some where very bad. S6 was a bad idea just think if they stuck with that joe would of died off not to come back if they stuck with that.

resolute was a good idea but they shit canned it for the roc. 25th line did great but they had to make repaint after repaint to keep product on the shelves as that was new molds that where not tried yet and they didnt know if they would sell well. then poc came and it had some good and some bad molds. now the 30anny line is great as they use new molds and make them look like there V1 looks witch alot of us like. but also have some great molds.

hasbro needs to have 2 lines going persay ie have some v1 looking charters with some new takes on charters to keep everyone happy. as they have some great molds / parts coming out. i hope joe 2 will have some killer molds that look good. unlike roc lol.

joe will never be what MB sees or what i see as we see them in 2 dif ways. joe is always been to me 90% real and 10% sci fi while others see it 90% sci fi and 10% real or 50/50 and there lays the problem when it comes to this brand. we all see joe dif.

look at SW it has new charters but has a ton of V1 looking ones. joe needs to stop giving us duke, destro ,SE,SS & CC and give us new ones to buy that either only got one toy or that where never made. right now they have a great formula going with the 30anny and hopefully with joe 2. as they have a great modern look going. and some killer new parts.

Never gonna happen. It can barely keep one line going.

I have no attachment to this figure since I barely even know who he is... the figure looks okay but not $25 okay.

It's not an awful-looking figure, just a figure I couldn't care less about. He looks like a Wal-Mart 2-pack store exclusive, but not a Collector's Club figure, though.
