good gawd!!...thats frig'n crazy!!...that anyone could even sculpt something so small..i mean, they actually have seperate legs, on something thinner than a grain of rice...my eyes would explode trying to paint them...

that tiny train, actually functioning, is amazing...

whats a row of those 6 people cost?

I believe 24 for $18!

God Dammit. I used to love Godzilla as a Kid, Listening to Blue Oyster Cult Godzilla and now this! I may have to get Zilla himself.... Maybe Space Godzilla too.

I was pretty content with everything else I was collecting till I saw this stuff. As it sits I have two dioramas planned (1 being on a 4x8) with all this crap! To think this all started when I was looking into the new Godzilla movie coming out next year

pfft...my whole toy collecting situation was all spurred on by me looking up costume ideas...

before that, i didn't collect jack sh!t...i didn't go on forums of any sort, didn't sit around painting any kind of toy, didn't read comics, didn't make dios...

makes me wonder what i used to do with all the free i musta had...seems like it was something with my cock, and maybe my wife...eh, who knows...

you know you want it...you can't resist...:D

yup, still waiting on pics of the wife in the NFTW thread... get on it! :)

on a thread related note... i did get my first 1:500 scale model today. Too bad it was the only 1:500 scale anything the local hobby dealer had but it was one I was looking for! USS Chicago (CG-11)... now on to the Nimitz!

A city built in 1:450 scale... and look at that train go!

Your right, it does look bigger than T... I just posted what they listed as T. :D
Some of those other video's do look amazing, though I don't plan on doing anything quite that extreme!

As for the USS Chicago, its just a 1:500 plastic ship model is all but here are some pics. Keeping in mind the "Joe" is 4" and the godzilla I've discussed is 6"

Other character have been announced for the S.H. Monster arts line

Destroyah (aggregate)

Baby Godzilla

Fire Rodan

King Ghidorah

Anything announced that interest anyone? I'm not a fan of any other monsters but would like to see Mecha Godzilla 4, Godzilla 2000 and maybe Orga from 2000

well, I learn more about this crap everyday! Looks at though the "T" scale is actually considered to be 1:480 (instead of 1:450) so all the ship models, airplane/airport stuff available in 1:500 is so close many hobbyists are using the two scales together.. I know, not a huge difference between the 450 & 480 but enough to make any diorama's built more realistic. Kind of a catch 22 as much as I want them to appear realistic... I'm putting a big godzilla in the middle. From one extreme to another I guess :)

Looking forward to the new Godzilla movie!

rumors have it, its been pushed back to 2014 to rework the script. Same guys who wrote the "Batman Begins" reboot evidently so should be interesting to see just what they can do. Toho (godzilla rights owners) are very interested in seeing what modern CGI is capable of and use it to try to recapture their nations lagging intersest as younger and younger citizens aren't interested in the old man-in-suit special effects of yester year. So if the whole "end of the world" thing of 2012 would just wait until Godzilla is released then I can go to my grave feeling at least just a little better.

well the metallic guy already looks pretty rough around the edges. Windows are cracked, grills broken and judging by the look on his face I think he might have a leak in his oil pan. The soft squishy might be getting ready to turn the furnace on and shape metal head into a bedpan

got any in-costume pics?

Hmm, Godzilla vs popcan. ;)

Last one looks like G is playing with his action figures.

In costume? Boy thats a reach back... oh 33 years ago. I'll have to give my Ma a call and see. :) I know she has some of the E.T. costume she made and of Wicket (ewok). Come to think of it, those are still in the attic

Found the first Godzilla toy that brought about this whole "Godzilla madness" I suffer from. I first saw it at the dentist's office in '78 (I was 3) and wanted a godzilla toy ever since. I've only had two since then but never the one that sparked my interest. It was around that time that the Godzilla cartoon (yeesh) had come out and I had the perfect monster to protect me from Jaws (long story) and a few other real world monsters in my life.

Looking back... damn that was an ugly toy, but UPS has a gift for me tomorrow (Yay!) that has my inner 3 year old bouncing around inside me like a sugar strung crack head.

are you trying to make me derail your thread? :D

Lets see according to my Web-fu Devastator is 100 feet tall (according to a Marvel U.K. Transformers comic book) or if you follow the 1984 animated series place him at 48' tall. Godzilla is still over 160 feet taller than the biggest version of your tin can.. or if I took the 90's godzilla he would be 228' taller than Devastator.

Derail? Na, no competition here at all. I imagine Godzilla could use Devestator as a tricycle or wagon, or something... ;)

Seriously though, I never got into Transformers at all and that one strikes my interest. You gonna post more pics as you get em'?
