The UE I can painstakingly fix (and will) but overall I'm really happy with all these figures. I opened all but the Zombie, Ripcord and Tunnel Rat last night, and I have to say that despite leaving off some accessories, the figures are all very well done.

Those knee pads on the Renegades trooper are ridiculous, though. The new ankle on Scarlett is such a genius modification that I can't believe they haven't done that before. It's no less articulation points, but the way they tilted the angle 90 degrees gives a really good, much more realistic foot pose.

Also, Renegades Storm Shadow wins for ridiculous amounts of awesome accessories. That figure isn't for kids, they'd lose all but maybe the swords and backpack within minutes.

So is SS technically two different characters? He has the Renegades head and the original one. I'm actually going to get a small fountain I found at ROSS that will work perfect for temple SE and Resolute SS to fight at.

Card art and the sash on him would lead me to believe it's "technically" Renegades, but he's more or less "Ultimate SS" to go along with POC SE. It's funny though, because he comes with the full mask on the figure and the "hair locks" head as the extra, and the card art shows the full mask. But he never appeared that way in the show, I don't think. I never finished the season though, so don't quote me on that.

The do come off, yes...but it's an odd peg that holds them one.

My gripe with the Renegades trooper is the orange paint apps. I was lucky enough to find one and I debated for a bit and pulled the trigger. I painted over the orange and he looks much better to me. I know I'll never hear the end of it but I have no problem with the knee pads. You'll see him in some dios after I get a few more.

He has a (what people have said) is a blow dart? It is so tiny, yet the peg that attaches from his webgear almost pushes the dart out so that you will almost undoubtedly lose it. I'm thinking of either gluing it on or just not having it on the figure at all. Don't get me wrong, the accessories are cool and all, but c'mon, they could've stopped at some point.

The blow dart's still not as awesome as the Lowlight bullet, but it's probably smaller.

almost picked up zombie vipers. They just look so cool, but not sure how I would use them until now. A burnt corpse in a burned and blown up vehicle sitting in the seat or seats all crispy like (paint flat black or something).

maybe I need to set fire to a metal diecast like Fled did. flip it upside down and nail it with a sledge to replicate an ied first, then burn it. Wish I had a scaled pick-up. I'll have to look around.

Today was pretty cool. I have a Cobra symbol from the Legions pack on the register and two kids recognized it. One kid wanted to know why the bad guys were on the register. I just told him 50% of our profits go towards them.

The head sculpt on Law is absolutely immaculate. Though I kinda want to use it as Hawk's.

I also need another Techno-Viper. And they'll talk in Brooklyn accents.

SO I opened up the Cobra Trooper Renegades, and he was about what I expected. All the flaws I'd noted before were present, but he's still not a bad figure.

He would definitely look great in a door gunner or turret (humvee, for example) gunner roll because of the flak vest.

His accessory load out is really weak, but he works better in the police/security roll than the Shock Trooper, whom look like they mean a lot more business than just babysitting a bunch of OWS slackers.

I'd buy 2-3 more. He's not something I'd pursue voraciously. If I can find me a civilian-looking enough figure he'd look smacking them with the nightstick, or kicking them to sleep.

I found 2 when hunting SS. i thought i would like them more. not bad, not great. Still love the Security written on the back though. Probably wont get anymore. 2 is plenty if i want to use them in a dio shot.

If the light blue had been the darker Shock Trooper blue I think he would have been a winner even with the crappy wrist swivel and Monica Lewinsky kneepads.

If I end up with a couple more I may need to hunt down a 21st or Bbi Humvee.

I like the security on the back of the flak vest, too. Need to slap it on a ST and see how it looks.

I think i have to agree on the coloring. as of right now, he looks more toony than alot of the renegades. it may very well be the color that causes that.
