Well, devastator's scale is so ambiguous anyway. Sometimes he's taller than a skyscraper, and other times he's only a head taller than megatron. I personally think he should be 2-3x the height of a leader-type, so revo's are just about perfect.
I never noticed how off the scale was, but re-watching the TF episodes on The Hub, he does change sporadically depending on what role they need him for. That kind of scale shift bugs the shit out of me now as an adult, and probably did as a kid, I just didn't remember it.

the Revoltechs will work splendedly, but in vehicle mode (if they had one), they would be noticeably too large...the legends in alt mode are pretty spot on...i'm basing all my guesses on Hercles cab sizes and the people that would fit in them...falls somewhere between HO and N scale...HO would make Herc look cool, but N scale would make him look downright massive

Eh, I'm more concerned with getting all 6 by the same time. If the Joe 7-packs are ready by end of December, I'll ship them and Hook together so they arrive by the time I'm back from vacation. If the 7-packs are delayed, I'm fine with waiting on Hook until the other 2 are in stock in Jan/Feb (although I want to get them sooner).

I second that. Trust me, I really can't stand my toys being out of scale with one another, but with TFs, you pretty much have to understand that it's never going to work out. Even to the people that write and draw this stuff, the scale is.... vague and amorphous depending on the situation.
Trying to reconcile all the TFs to a particular size/scale is like trying to unravel DC continuity. There are so many holes, you just have to clear your mind and let it wash over you... selectively ignoring the things that make no sense.

They keep flip-flopping on those colors! The black shovel will look better in Devastator mode, but the chest-plate being black looks off from the others. It's dope how the shovel folds up like that, though. That's some clever engineering.

i personally would prefer Bonecrushers plow be green, i think it would look better and help the heaping green on the other side since Scavenger is so much bigger on the right...it would help offset some of the size difference visually since black kinda gets lost where as the green REALLY pops...
and MMs drum is going to be green as per TFCs lead designer and this picture below...
also, check out that bada$$ clip on visor!...its soooo awesome!...not sure which figure its coming with yet...

I think I agree. With the scoop/dozer being black, it looks even more off-balance. Wonder why they changed it? In bot mode or vehicle, it doesn't look bad, but in combined mode... Yeah, looks off.

Igear has yet another round of MP seeker repaints. G2 Ramjet is a total pass for me. The semi-transparent purple jet is... I guess it's supposed to be a seeker clone. And the forest green is supposed to be Acid Storm?

that Jetfire looks crazy awesome!...definitely the best version yet...although the head on him sucks major a$$...but next to Devastator, JF was always my fave, so getting "MP" sized versions of my two faves is a dream come true...
wow!...he looks really well engineered!...and almost impossible to transform...geeze...i feel like i'd need an engineering degree to figure him out...he looks really delicate, like at any moment you could snap off a panel on him...

Which Prime? Looks like it'd be in-scale to Classics cars, and they're more properly in-scale to MP-10 than MP-01/04 or Classics Prime. Part of me wishes I'd skipped the Alternator line and gone for Classics, but I'm not about to start another series again.
That's a decent looking figure, and the vintage Trailbreaker was something awful. I guess I could always sell off my Alternators for a decent price and buy just the Classics that I want, but I don't really want to deal with all that right now.

Yeah, I saw that thing earlier today. It appears to be a classics/deluxe size... sort-of. It's a little small, as TB is supposed to be a bit larger than the other cars, but the pic makes him look kinda small next to Tracks. And the robot mode, while better than most TB's I've seen thusfar, is pretty plain.
The best trailbreaker in my opinion is the custom often made from the first bayformer movie Ironhide. Apparently you can effectively turn his head around and it looks a lot like TB. I haven't tried it yet, but that's the lone bayformer toy I bought from the first film.

Yeah, R&F look bad. It's the blocky, disjointed-looking hips that really ruin it for me.
Anyone see the Impossible Toys Alpha Trion, Kranix, and Arblis at BBTS? AT looks too cartoony, but for some reason, I really like the others. They should display well with the IT Quints.
Eddie, you should use Firefox or Chrome with the AdBlock Plus extension. If it doesn't block the ads automatically, you can make it ignore the entire frame where the ads appear. Very nice and improves load speeds almost everywhere on the net. I have a shitty VZ USB connection at home, so ABP is a must for me.
