21st Century Toys went out of business. The founder started a NEW company, likely to avoid their debt etc, thus K-Tiger is right..
Well I can see why the 21st line stopped with 10 different 109' types, 5 Stukas, 4,Corsairs, and 3 104s etc. He replicated too much stuff. Never made a Phantom or a Thunderchief or went Cold War Russian. If he did then he probably wouldn't be in debt or the line would still be going.

When the time comes when 3D printing (rapid prototyping) becomes more mainstream we're going to see this hobby take off in a big way. And I'll be one of the first consumers to get one once the price drops below five grand that is. Now if only the Makerbot were capable of producing much cleaner and detailed models I'd be all over that like bees on honey but it isn't quite there yet. The ones that do however unfortunately still cost over $50,000. Maybe I'll buy a lottery ticket today. 
If BBI is going to do another F-18 thay should atleast do more than a repaint like maybe a growler?
Growler is going to be a bit more than a repaint. Mostly antennae and sensor pods. But that's still changes in the mold.
The "Growler" is based off the Super Hornet, which, unfortunately, is practically a whole different plane from the F/A-18 they released.
I hope they do make a Super Hornet though!
I'd love a few 1/18 Deuce-and-a-Half trucks. They'd be perfect for the Black Hawk Down dios I've been planning.
Um, no. The Super Hornet the Growler is based on is 20% larger than the F-18.
You can no more slap a couple parts on what they've made and call it a Super Hornet or Growler than you can a Longbow radome on that A model Apache and call it a D.

Whoops. I was was off. Course I didn't know the original release of the '18 wasn't a Super Hornet. My bad guys.
The super hornets and growlers have 30% larger wings and are a few feet longer, and the elevators or more rhombus shaped, so sadly it would take more work than that. I still hope they do one though!
Well, when he's lashing you with a pink plush feather-coated thing, it's hard to call that punishment.
It's still cruel and unusual though.
This was just revealed this morning on BBI's Facebook page. The image below hasn't been confirmed yet by BBI but it appears to be legit. An e-tailer in Germany is already requesting pre-orderes and expects it to be released sometime in June.

I do not remember my F18's wings folding and that pilot/cockpit looks suspect. Scale model fake or official but using a model to show the livery?
