Wow... Just, wow. All 3 are amazing, man. From the gear to the overall designs, your customs capture modern soldiers pefectly. I love RnR's merc look and the tats on his arms are excellent. Ripcord looks just like a HALO trooper you would see in the military today with all of that gear (blows my mind you were able to outfit him with all of that) and the paint apps are clean. Scarlett looks a lot like the drawing you did of her awhile back, which I really dig.

I'm not digging the Scarlett as much as the other two, but she's still killer.
That RnR though, could be my new default RnR. I wasn't a fan of the tats that were on the Resolute design, but damn if those sleeves aren't dope. Especially for a 2012 update. He's clearly my favorite.
Although that Ripcord is a close second.

very VERY nice wry...all are spectaclar...very much dig'n R&Rs sleeves...you did a really good job on them...

roger that man. i've pretty much hated every tattoo on joe figs. being heavily tattooed myself, they just looked...off, cheesy, weak...whatever.
not saying his sleeves are perfect by any means, but i think i may have found a way to make it happen. just need to practice more and get dialed in, this is the first time i've completely sleeved a 1/18th scale fig. no tutorials or advice, just a lot of patience, cussing, do overs, and good ol' fashioned American sticktoitiveness.
Nah, you're right. I've not seen one done really well on an action figure. If they're black, they're always waaay too dark. Tats are never that dense and crisp. The closest are small ones like Shipwreck's anchor or Gung Ho's crest. I'm not a fan of most of the Joe tats, the way they look. I'm sure it'd be a pain in the ass to make sleeves on production figures, and especially hand-painted like you did. It turned out great, and is a believable effect. Considering the scale, it's quite impressive.
