Which custom should I do first Dap or HUMVEE ?

This probably may be a little premature but .

Which modern upgrade will you guys want ?

The DAP version of the Black Hawk or the NEW Humvee turret upgrade.

I WILL do this custom AFTER the Sdkfz 251 backdate mod.

This could be unfair armor vs aircraft but a lot of guys collect both.

I WILL BE MAKING BOTH but only one at a time.:thumbsup:

Probably more Hummer owners out there, but I think a DAP kit would be so much cooler to see.

I reckon DAP first. Gonna mold the Bbi Hellfires or do your own?

hmmm...i have both...and would like both upgrades...tough choice...

i think the humvee kit would be best IMO...easier to display and eaiser to photograph in dios and more noticable

Um, a 60 in the Direct Action Penetrator role is something to see:





If he was feeling froggy he could do any number of armament options, including miniguns, a 30mm chain gun (yes, like on the Apache) and a selection of rocket pods and missiles. That's just the munitions.

thats true...but most of us that do have a black/pave only have one...while most of us have mutable Humvees...it would be cool to have options though for the 'hawk

True enough, you can still get PTE Humvees. Not so much Blackhawks.

I would LOVE both but I think the Humvee would be easier(?) and would be able to produce/sell more. If they take off, use profits to make DAP Blackhawk.

Dude those were such a pain to make for as small as they were.

I priced them for the trouble they were worth to do.

Of all of the mods I have ever made those were the worst selling . Not even worth doing.:talktothehand:

But things have changed and my moulding skills have improved since then.

I need to look at them again.

I think they may have done a bit better if they had been paired up with another mod. M158s, perhaps.

If you do them again or dust off the old molds one day I'd like to get a set.

Is there still interest in the Blackhawk DAP package ?

If so, should I go with the incorrect stock location of the winglet or make my mod in the correct position ?

Yes and no. It just needs weathering. Coupled with my previously mentioned lack of motivation, I hate painting. Fabrication and assembly are what I enjoy most and that's done, lol.
