Tunnel Rat by Cloud Strife (Rd. 2)

I've been trying to figure out which legs to swap out with the 25th Tunnel Rat's legs, as they're not really that great. The knife and sheath are ridiculous. It was pointed out that the new Renegades Tunnel Rat's legs are shorter than most others. So, I set out to update Tunnel Rat once more. I widened his waist a little bit by sculpting, cut Bazooka's belt to fit his new waist, and added some sculpt to the back of his sleeves and the cuffs of them as well. I kept the cobbled head I previously made for Tunnel Rat and repainted the entire figure, other than the skin tone (I like the skin tone and camo I gave him the first time around).

I haven't given him a gun yet, as I'm waiting on Marauder's upcoming *(edit) M240, not M60.

There's something off about him... It could be the bulk of stuff around his neck... Does his head sit too low?

He looks a tad barrel-chested, and that torso is one of the thinner ones, comparatively. I know you added bulk for the waist, but he looks a tad stocky. Maybe it's the pics?

I like what you've done, it's just something sits off on the head, like maybe his neck needs to be slightly longer or his head set higher?

I think the head-sculpt is too small. It looks like he's suffering from 25th Wild Bill/Duke syndrome. The added bulk of the legs and waist make him seem too stocky.

... I don't think I care much for it. This is the worst custom I've done in a while, lol.

It's a good head, just too small now with the added bulk of the figure. Doesn't seem to match the figure in size.

Although I never imagined TRat as very bulky because he has to crawl through tight spaces, wearing a pack. He does seem a taaad stocky, but I was fine with the factory figure once I repainted his eyes. It's your figure, up to you really.

It's still done really well, and your "worst" custom is still better than most. Mine included.

Again you do awesome work, but the only thing I don't like about this guy is his arms looks way to big(strong) and now with the new fatter legs he's quite thick. Seems like he should be more scrawny.

personally, i'm not seeing the flaws you guys are seeing...i think he looks really cool...the one thing i don't like, and its no fault of yours CS, is the hugemungus holster on his chest...*theres a time and place for functional holsters, and if Hasbro can't make it smaller than that, then the chest isnt the place...i just don't get how they can make tiny ones for IG Destros leg, but guys like TR, and WB and SJ get these jokingly huge holsters

There aren't really any Asian sculpts in the 1:18 scale, other than Hard Master. 25th Tunnel Rat doesn't count. It looks nothing like Tunnel Rat nor an Asian.

This figure far from sucks. Still a great looking custom. The head looks great IMO.

Cloude, he is a little chunky, but hey, have you seen the ratts that run aound NY? Fat fuckers.

I'm glad they came out with a new TR because I have tried to alter that fig myself enough times and gave up and just put his head on another set of parts.
