So this one is was mostly Clouds fault, posting that damn Tigerstripe tutorial of his.


Really, though, I just wanted to do a chick in tigerstripe coveralls, and to use this head I had painted a long while back. No MOS, though I may have originally concieved her as a rotary wing pilot. About all i know is she's a Mick (Irish for those of you in Rio Linda), though if she's attatched to the Joe team or what I've not decided.

I'm just calling her Tíogar until I can firm up her duties and suck.

Parts:

Head, Arms, Torso and Thighs: 25th Lady Jaye (v.2)
Lower Legs: RoC Tunnel Rat
Belt: RoC Para-Viper strap
Canteen, Pouches and Rucksack: Want to say all 21st Century
Knife (lost 2 already on this project) 21st Century
Shoulder Rig: 21st Century Holster with tape harness.

Dude, she looks great! I like the parts choices for the most part. I hate those lower arms, but I have a strong suspicion that if you had an alternative set with wrist articulation, they'd already be on there. Paint apps look nice and clean.

Yeah, I'm not pleased with the lack of wrist articulation, but I'm not quite ready to try adding a pushpin ball joint.

Thanks. I wanted to go a bit more intricate than Clouds. It's a pain in the ass, YMMV as to whether the effort is worth it or not.

Cut her hands off at the wrist. Drill holes into her stumps. Insert ROC Scarlett's hands (the version in black body armor). That's what I did. Want pictures? Too bad, I'm gonna take some and show you.

Ya know, I have that redheaded trollop. Could work. I'm notoriously bad at drilling straight holes, though.

Those are very impresive. Nice work on the tiger striping. I like the WWII holster, blends in well. SE's colors are crisp. Nice weathering on her boots too by the way.

Okay, quite by accident my "CC that doesn't look completely like a clown" project has kicked back into gear. I can't decide on the knee joint, thougg. Thoughts:

I'm leaning to the Destro ones. Think they'd work better with the leather re-enforced riding breeches I'm replicating.

I think the destro knees work better. Vipers look to awkward to me

Destro knees...the viper ones are too narrow and don't blend well enough

The Luftwaffe crusher cap is a cast of the one that came with 21st Century's Major Von Schnitzel FJ figure. The SS panzer cap with head set came with 21st's Ardennes Offensive tank commanders. It used to have wires running from both ear muffs.
