Yeah, I didn't like that concept. But as a collector, it's easy to get the both as Tomax is in the blind bag and those are easy to pick out.
Wht I despise is the Hiss, Destro and Baroness in a Ninja temple making the set $80. Total waste of of a set. They could have easily made the Hiss set...
The Terrordrome is gonna be epic. I can't believe they actually made it.
Also, you KNOW, they know people are now gonna bug the shit out of them for the USS flagg. It is highly possible to make it if you judge by LEGO sets. (The star destroyers)
We piece them out, selling duplicate figs, maybe some parts or sell whole sets.
My walmart had a shitload of lego on clearance. we proposed to the manager that we would buy $2k worth of lego if they give us a deal. They granted a $500 off total purchase at that offer. So we promptly bought them...
Its better that way. Walmart and Target can't seem to handle any other brick lines other than LEGO. TRU has lots of dedication to that market.
I can find pretty much any set I want at TRU AND they tend to have the buy one get one 50% sales often.
1:18th took the backseat a while ago. Been focusing on my block collecting. Also, series * HALO blind bags are out, I saw them at Target but already had my cart full of stuff :)
Went shopping tonight and bought all 12 of the DnD Kre_o blind packs as well as 6 of the special sets (Drizzt!) a couple of the new star wars troop sets (death star gunners, royal guards, and kashyyk Troopers) Batman and Penguin set, Transformer Kre-O customizer sets.
They had the new WWII Call...
it seriously sucks though, a mini figure with hardly any articulation? I had both sets in my cart as the wife continued to shop, I was looking over the package and realized this. Grabbed the LEGO AT-TE that was on clearance for $60 instead.
found the zombie sets finally and promptly put them back on the shelf. no articulation on them except the head. how can the same people that make the CoD articulated military figures NOT put articulation ob figures from the same series. At the pricepoint these are, there should definitely be...
my walmart had some LEGO on sale so I picked up Batcave $45, Castle Dragon mountain $35, Republic gunship $70, Lone Ranger Silver Mine $35 and Batman: Riddler chase $25.
I get surgery tomorrow so the wife can't be upset with me as it's my sympathy present to myself. :D
