This made me laugh :lmao: I'm speculating that the higher ups are gun shy for the same reason that Toy companies hesitate making Female Action Figures. They don't think it will generate enough revenue. With that in mind, a Black Widow movie would have to add another attraction to it...

It's probably too hard to do now but I always thought a S.H.I.E.L.D. movie starring her would have been great. Have Fury and Hawkeye has secondary roles to help carry the movie. I guess they could do it as a prequel but if they're going to try and do a prequel than they might as well go...
