I got one, and even though I paid about $50 for it(shoulda grabbed them when they were at target) I'm pretty happy with it. Tiger force was just one of those things that it took time for me to get to like it, which is why I didn't get them when they came out at target. I'm glad that back in 1988 hasbro chose this paint scheme over a tiger meet scheme, as brightly painted as this is.

I have a love-hate relationship with the Tiger Force color scheme, too. I do like the paint app in the front, though.

I never saw the Rattler at Target. :(

tiger meet sucks...just sayin. I have yet to see a tiger meet scheme I actually like. Thats just me though

50 years worth of schemes and there have been some pretty good ones, especially considering how lame tiger striping a jet is.

I never said I liked the paint scheme. It's still a little to blah for me, I just like it more than any of the tiger meet schemes I've seen. It's the only tiger force thing I own, and I wouldn't get another, I'mhappy only owning the one I've got. I just don't really care for animal paint scheme planes. I like camo and subdued colors.

High-vis works on the right airframes, which are few now.

Joe jets are simply too small to pull off such loud liveries, though. If the J-10 shows up state-side I may just lift my anti-tinker toy ban and replicate part of that Super Etendard's scheme.

I wasn't sure if the scheme you were gonna do would be the one like the pic you posted or the white with stripes

Definitely the black. That's how I think such things should be handled, partial coverage.


Stripes all over is just too much.

Digging the review, great pics as usual. I actually don't mind Tiger Force, I don't like them but I don't mind them. As a kid I really liked them lol. I still need to pick up a TF Wild Bill in order to fully complete my 25th collection. I think he's the last figure left for me.

Yuck it would be better to get another RoC Wild Bill & repaint him into a Tiger Force style that you like.
