Anybody still collecting SW on here?

I understand that it's not new, but as some SW figures have gotten non-t-crotches in recent years, it's just disappointing that they put out a stunning new female figure that looks like she's wearing intergalactic Depends. When was the last time you saw a woman with a gigantic horizontal space between her legs?

I love how people are so put off by the crotch on these like it's a new thing. Star Wars is the originator of the T crotch. It doesn't hamper the displayability of them.

I haven't customized a Star Wars figure in a long while now...so it's a moot point for me.

Pretty sure most here have wanted Hasbro to knock off this t-crotch bullshit since the line relaunched in '95. It looked like shit in '78, and there's no valid excuse for them to still be using it.

I guess it's fine if you want your figures to just stand around or sit down, but those turds aren't gonna do anything with "action".

That is how I display mine, standing up. Some of the newer figures have had a ball joint hip implemented, and though it's not as versatile as the Joe hip, it does help.

That Mara is fantastic, I want 2, My SDS Zarana needs new arms! Soooooo much better of a head sculpt than the 2 versions I have.

Upper torso looks to be the same as the comic pack one. rest looks new.

Shit....all this time I've been trying to find something...

How does the Interceptor compare to that "big" (maybe it was just the "wings" they imbiggened) TIE Fighter?

Wonder if TrU is gonna carry it, and if it will make it to sub-$30 clearance.....

I have the TRU Interceptor, and that's the one I'll let the kids open, but I really want the vintage box version for the shelf.

And I need a pair of Slave-I's, one for an opener and one to keep in the box. But that price is crazy. The whole battlepack that had the pequel Slave-I, another vehicle, and 8-10 figures was only $100 and was routinely on clearance for $70-80. For that repackaged mold with no figures or other goodies except the frozen Han to cost $100 is loony.

Yeah that Slave I is pretty cool. I still like my Attack of the Clones Slave I though. It has some really fun features, despite being a little on the small side.

I like Padme's head, and I'm kind of impressed with the scratches in her back. Like to get my hands on that Biggs head sculpt.

I'm sure there's more, but that Scout looks like a straight VoTC repack.

I couldn't tell you the differences between the VotC and the '12 TrU one. It sounds like they added another joint to the neck, perhaps something similar to the Swoop rider. I don't know.

I find it hard to believe they'd do a ground-up new Scout.

That's the wrong one Goldbug. That video is showing the ultimate battle pack one and the vintage one... ;)

Oh, they ball jointed the hips, finally? So new hips and neck. It's still 80% VOTC?

I already have a scanning crew guy, and that weird box. I got it at a Target a few years back when they were on clearance for only a few bucks. It was one of the last time I saw Star Wars figures on sale. It was one of the last times I saw any 3 3/4" figures on sale except for Thundercats stuff last year. Damn greedy retailers will keep their crap at full price forever these days. They'd almost rather go broke than have a sale or discount stuff every once and a while.

The scanning crew guy that was out a while back was supposed to have a running change with the cover to his box. Hasbro nixed this, leaving collectors a bit miffed. This one showing up so many years later...eh...who cares.

So it takes a 6" figure to get modern Joe articulation? It's funny that the commentors are complaining about the knees we all love around here. :whatever:

I think at this point a lot of SW collectors aren't bright enough to be able to appreciate their Luke and Boba figures actually being able to be posed dynamically.

I don't suppose there's a 1:18 X-wing jockey with ball joint hips?

Wow, what a bunch of whiny bitches. I think the figure rocks. Who are these people that think they should have up-scaled the shitty 4" figures?! Gigantic T-crotch for everyone!

To be fair, SW fans are an even pickier lot than TF fans, who dwarf Joe fans in their quest for nit-picky minutiae to complain about. Sci-Fi rivet counters. Bah! Only Hot Wheels nerds are lower on the collecting totem pole in my book.

They'll shit when they find out slave Leia will be able to lounge or choke the shit out of the non-existent 6" Jabba, instead of just stand there.

I think it's the way the knee sits inwards... kind of looks weird that way(If you bend a Joe knee, it doesn't sink in like that, it sticks out and looks normal)... other than that, I love it.. now they just need to shrink those molds to 1:18th!!!!
