Realised I was probably in the wrong thread so heres a few WIP pics of my BBI ASLAV in no particular order. I'll post when I remember to take pictures.IMG_20200829_174915.jpgIMG_20200829_174934.jpgIMG_20200830_143906.jpgIMG_20200830_143921.jpgIMG_20200901_165525.jpgIMG_20200901_165543.jpg20200830_153408.jpg20200830_153408.jpgIMG_20200830_144022.jpgIMG_20200830_153501.jpgIMG_20200830_153515.jpg

BBI, JoyToy, and Marauders, Inc. Offer a lot of good possibilities to make your aussie troops! I'd say give it a chance. You could easily make a near match on that tank driver with Marauder parts.

A little progress, things to do are the roof air filters, flex and coax MG'S, turret wire cutter, a little stowage and fit the wheels. Some turret angles were not friendly so this became an approximation rather than a detailed build 20200904_163912.jpg2020-09-04 16.41.40.jpg20200904_164011.jpg .

Looks like your vehicle was left unattended too long in L.A.! 🤣

Really enjoying your vehicle so far. Would be kinda neat to see 'em rumble in a convoy! Keep it up.

P.S. - I just noticed your Abrams has a Kangaroo symbol. That's both hilarious and amazing.

No, the hatch will remain as is. I will however cut and replace the expended link cover plate on the side of the turret

She gets some colour. Still plenty to do, waiting for tools and MG's aswell as decals. I think the tyres worked well and still functional. CC welcome. Nice work bro. Those tires make a big difference plus all the styrene work you did looks tremendous. That’s a bad ride bro.

Great job! Loving the MG up top. It looks really crisp. How/where do you get your parts? You've practically got a unit at this point. Need some aussie infantry!

Thanks mate, the parts are from Marauder. They do 1/18 weapons and bits. If I can ever find another LAV at a reasonable price (not the ebay scalper price) then I'd do the ASLAV Type 2.
Cheers

Aw, snap! That helo looks amazing also! Great job my guy. I'm telling you - some Aussie infantry would look amazing with all that (yes I am heckling you to do it! lol). I'd definitely love to see you take some pictures with those in awesome backdrops (I'm sure the land out there has a ton of opportunities).

Keep up the good work. It's always great to see other NATO-affiliated (apparently Australia isn't part of NATO?) countries represented here.
