bbi BF109

Just checking to see anyone has gotten the BF109 BBI. I am thinking about getting one. I've seen the pictures and they look really nice.

I like it, but too rich for my blood. WWII doesn't do it for me enough anymore to justify it.

I got one but have not taken it out of the box to check it out.

Granted it would have been better than dropping over 40 bucks on 190 decals and then NOT bothering to finish the product, but yeah, 90's too much.


It's not like it's one of Hartmann's famous liveries.

I've played with the original desert one and must say I was impressed. It certainly lives up to the quality and detail of BBI's other WWII birds.

The desert one seems to be a pretty valuable item to have right now. I’ve seen them go for a good bit on eBay. I have the latest one as well and really like it. I wasn’t all that happy with the way the letters were on top of the old ones. I felt like the old ones would have been worn looking before they went over it. Still, it’s a very nice looking plane.

Yeah I have the Desert G2 as well got it cheap to very nice detail too
