Camera: Moto G cellphone cam
The German expeditionary force in Africa during the North African Campaign
Was a "blocking force" to support the Italian army
Erwin Romel was their commander
The principle units of the Afrika Korps were the 15th Panzer Division and the 21st Panzer Division.
The German forces in Africa developed a renown for their fighting qualities.
Many of British whom they fought against were under the impression that it was an elite force, but the Africa Korps was made up of common German soldiers from the Wehrmacht.
They had no special training prior to their arrival in Africa beyond what was usually expected.
The Afrikakorps fought in North Africa, primarily in the rocky desert plain of Cyrenaica, modern day Libya.
Conditions in the desert were harsh: miserably hot during the day, while temperatures dropped precipitously at night
the Afrika Korps and is Commander Rommel never give the enemy a rest even during the battle of El Alamein and when the Afrika Korps surrender to the Allied Forces in 13 of May 1943.
I'm sorry the blurry shots but my cell cam is the only one i have here in the desert and i wanted to share this shots with you guys.
