It's still up in the air Freedom. No more than $25 a figure from what I've read but who knows. Even if someone just wants a few I'm willing to bet it's worth getting because the other figures will sell on a secondary market for a little more. One should easily be able to make their money back and if they hold out, possibly more.

Even if you have to sell most of them I bet you can get back what you paid per figure. Only thing that could screw that up is how the club approaches selling them away from the subscription. Sounds like they may sell some without a sub but that's the rumor mill so far. So far the "leaked" list is pretty legit and if so I have no interest. I'd sell all but Iron Klaw and Big Boa probably. Not worth the time for me.

I am curious how many more members they got to sign up after the Dial Tone figure.

it will be very easy to sell them off and get your money back. The typical Joe fan bitches about the price and won't sign up with the club... then after everyone who did is showing off there figs and talking about them, those same people whine and complain and wind up buying those figs at a higher price. You watch.. it will happen.

I will be selling off at least half of my figs

I don't doubt things will go down like that but I'm curious how much the club will be selling singles off for. That would kind of dictate price until those are sold out. That's if they are even going to do that.

I don't think they are going to sell singles but if they do, i bet they will do the same thing they do for the con set. In order to buy a bagged set, you must buy the $300 box set. So to buy extras you would have to sign up for the sub. Just a guess but then your talking all kinds of cash... which would jack the prices even higher for the secondary market

The glider is a cool homage but just looks dumb. Guess those ROSS ROC gliders will be a commodity now.

I want Grunt solely for the new head. It is a new sculpt, right?

And really, what the fuck with that glider? Just because there's a mold available, they must think they have to use it. Bluh.

It looks like he has a new head-sculpt to me. The glider is definitely stupid... There are a lot better accessories that they could have used, IMO.

Heh, so the rumor list seems to be true now.
I want 4 out of 5.

The glider hardly surprises me. I guess they figured since the original came with a glider then this one needs it. They also chose it because it fits on a card. The could have tried to make it in the original's colors.

yup the list seems very true now . so now it all depends on how the rest look to make my mind up as of right now i want 1 out of 5 not worth it. i get what they where trying to do with the glider but it all should be tan.

so out of this list here is what im looking to get but it all depends on how they look as i did want topside but i would have to pass on him now. so if those others fall short like topside ill have to pass on them.
Quarrel ( NO)
Nano-Bat (NO)
Topside (NO)
Dice (YES)
Iron Klaw (NO)
Jinx (MAYBE)
Barrel Roll (MAYBE)
Sure Fire (NO)
(Tan) Grunt (NO)
Cover Girl (MAYBE)
Big Boa (MAYBE)
TNT (NO)

... headsculpt is nice. Glider is an odd choice.

This seems to be a common response on Grunt...and to be honest, count me among those ranks. I know what the club is trying to do, but its a far cry from the Falcon Glider.

Still...not enough for me to say no. With a few exceptions, the club stuff tends to hold its value so I'm sticking with my guns and abiding by my "never hesitate" rule.

The list is solid, so let's just show us the last 7 and give us the payment details.

These all use already released parts right? just asking because i would love a Big Boa, but without a true BigBoa helmet he would be worthless to me.

Maybe 5 total I would want. Jinx, Iron Klaw, Cover Girl, Dice, and Big Boa.

That grunt will probably bring a little more demand to that Ace glider from ROC for anyone that opens the figure. Would just make sense. That other thing is just silly.

If the list is legit there are really only 3 that work for me. I'm sure that the rest would at least get their money back but selling off 10 figures to keep 3 is kind of more than I'm looking to do. I'm not that nostalgic that the subscription really does anything for me but it will be good for those that can't let go of that era.

Now they just need to say the October guard is the con set this year. :D

More than half will have new heads. So far, Grunt, Dice, Topside, and I'm pretty sure Quarrel are new sculpts. That godawful Nickelodeon Gak B.A.T. is the only one that uses a previous head, although Quarrel looks close enough to Pilot Scarlett that it could just be photoshopping/paint apps making her look new.

You sure that's a new head under that twice-used mask accessory?

Not 100% certain. But the head with the parted hair looks different?

I would use something like Torpedo's head, because the original figure always seemed to be wearing a sort of mask on top of his head, with just his face open. There's no need for him to have a new head, so I'd be perfectly happy with them reusing one to save a mold for use elsewhere.
