This guy is made out of all sorts of stuff.

-Main body, section of PVC pipe
-Head dome, part of a candy container
-arms, scratch built
-Hands, from some Microman toy
-Legs and feet, some sort of Stikfas/Mini-Mates type toy
-Belt and pouches, 21st Century Toys 1:12 SWAT gear

The paint job was probably the easiest part, flat black all over and then stippled with burnt umber, carmel corn and white, then given a wash of reddish brown here and there.

He is super poseable, feet, knnes, mid thighs, hips, fingers, wrists, elbows, mid-upper arms, shoulders, head. I wanted this to be as close to the official figure as possible.

Now, I also need a name for this guy...something along the lines of what 3A names it's stuff, here's what I have...

-Bad Boy
-Killjoy
-Ghost Face (which would go with the painting on the head dome)
-Kilroy

Thoughts?

Aside from the belt, that looks like it rolled out of whatever Chinese factory 3A uses.

I'd go Greek for the name, either after a named cyclops (Polyphemus, Brontes, Steropes, or Arges), or use the Greek word for cyclops, "kuklops".
He's a Bertie, correct? I saw an old movie the other day and one of the characters was called Automatic Slim. Kind of fits him.

True story: I actually want to do an 1:18 Von de Plume or N.O.M. Commander-style custom.

Yeah, I wish I had some 1:6th Viet Nam style pouches, but this is what I had on hand, I didn't feel like hunting down something more accurate, ordering it, waiting for it...etc.

This is one of those projects that was so long in the making that I just wanted to finally get it done.

Yes, he is supposed to be a Bertie.

Awhile back, I did a 1:18th Nom De Plume.

I had the base body for this sitting in my desk for at least two years...maybe more.

It's an expensive (some would say absurdly so) art figure line.

He pretty much nailed the aesthetic, and going by the art might have even got it to proper 1:18.

Pic with a 1:18 figure for scale?

Sorry for the late reply.

Yeah, from what I can tell, this should be 1:18th scale. Although the artwork I've seen has it change here and there. I have a WWR and my version is really close in size.

The picture here is with a Reaction figure, which is all I had on hand.

And thanks for the comments on the paint job. I used my factory WWR and tried to replicate the paint job as best as possible, lots of stippling with a sponge, some dry brushing and a wash here and there.
