I dunno why you ("you" being folks that fancy this Crimson Shadow business, not anyone in particular) just drop the pretense of "needing" that torso and just put the CG head and an ST tac vest on the DG Officer and call it good.

Personally, I just decided to make a pair. I don't much like crimson guards in any general sense, but I'm a "completionist" I suppose.. so I want to build up my cobra army the way I would see it.

I do, however, think I have a couple unused ST tac vests and another spare cobra trooper somewhere.. might do that, KT.

I need the torso because that's the uniform of the original Crimson Guard. And I don't care to reimagine much of anything related to Joe. The Cobra organization is a bit eccentric. I like the throw back to the 18th century of wearing dress uniforms into combat.

I think in the past we all have been. I still see customs with the head sitting on top of the ball joint like he's trying to peek over a wall, but people seem to think it looks fine. I usually ask my wife if it looks ok, or take pics and ask online to get a consensus. It's not like it's a difficult thing to notice.

Id doesn't help that there is absolutely no consistency with the length of necks and depths of the joint inside the head. Having to make modifications just to swap heads is very annoying.

Hi newbe here..I lucked out I hit 3 DG's in my area and on my first week I got all 6 plus doubles of all but SS,on my 2nd week I got a second SS and picked up a extra SE,a couple of extra Troopers and Dukes.

Walked into my closest DG yesterday to buy coffee, and found another Trooper. I just hit this place 2+ weeks ago and found the entire set, so they must have restocked. Still had SE, Duke, and CC on the peg.

I'm definitely hitting my area DG's this week - again.

BTW - anyone else finding the Trooper with his right foot a little bit longer, as if it's not set into the leg as much as the left? 3 out of my 4 so far are like this. The foot is pegged, but it sits lower. Haven't noticed this on any of the other SE leg incarnations. Weird.
