I think we can all agree that everything about RoC sucked.

The movie yes. But there were some ok figures, like those Desert Ambush Dukes. Man I should have bought like, ten of those.
comicbookmovies said:G.I. Joe: Retaliation hasn't received the most positive reviews (it has a mere 28% rating on Rotten Tomatoes), but the 3D sequel has been a success at the box office. As of this weekend, the film has grossed an estimated $322.9M worldwide. This is higher than the $302.5M intake of 2009's The Rise Of Cobra. While the first film has a $150M+ domestic gross and $152.3M overseas, Retaliation has currently grossed $111.2M+ domestically and $211.7M internationally. Especially as the sequel has a lower budget thanRise Of Cobra (which had a $175M budget, compared to Retaliation's $130M), this is great news for Paramount Pictures. A third installment is already in the works, and fingers crossed that it won't take another four years for it to be released.
Haha...oh man that'd be gay...
Awww now imagine how cool you would feel if you typed your name 3ddie
Haha...you buncha a$$es
I hope they don't go international again, and I don't think they will.. since this one was specifically very American and did better.
If they keep people around who know the mythos I could see them bringing in the October Guard or other international people perhaps.
What all the films have been missing is sending multiple teams out at once to the 4 corners of the earth. That was SUCH a common theme in the cartoon (and comics? I'm only 1/3 of the way through reading the classic Hama run) but ROC only had a small team that worked together, and Retaliation had an even fucking smaller team, although they did at least break into "two" forces, sort of, I guess... By sending SE on that silly Storm Shadow chase.
What I wanna see is something like four to five 5-or-6-man teams that each has their own specific mission to undertake as part of a larger whole. It could easily fit into a 2-hour film if done right, and they don't need to get all in-depth on character development. Just don't make flat characters with the sole purpose of throwing them away.
None of the stores have restocked much from what I can tell.. not that I look much anymore.
The 3-packs are in abundant supply though. Should really pick those up.. maybe Target will clearance them..
