Yeah the white stand is cool I guess.
Why make his main rifle all white? Why not add some sort of snow camo effect or something?
The head looks awful along with the legs.. and the shirt.. and well most of it.

After really taking some time to look at this, it starts to look worse and worse. The head looks a bit big, the seafoam green torso is a bit off-putting, the Snow Serpent fur collar never really looked right to me as the sculpting seems a bit too simplistic. Then you get down to the skinny jeans and what looks like fur-lined white socks. Really not seeing anything nice about this.
Look at it and cry!

This is why I refuse to be a member of the Club. Really average figures. Except for Footloose, but I'll just try to buy him.
Also remember that this is a Prototype. Footloose did change from the first prototype that we saw in 2011 to the final release in 2012.
That's awful. Dial-Tone's head was at least a good sculpt (although it only looked good with the paint apps on the Brazil deco, though) and Footloose was a knock outta the ballpark, but this is downright sad.
It's like they tried to throw shitty accessories at it as an attempt to improve the lackluster Frankenjoe. He's top-heavy as fuck, and that head sculpt looks horrendous.

People really need to start reading before getting all pissy. Hisstank is about 50 pages of people complaining. This figure is a mock-up which means the colors are not exact, the head is just a placeholder, and the parts choices could be different. This figure is just to give an idea of what the final figure will look like.
Because people have been whining non stop to see something. And because we are probably getting close to a point where a bunch of people will need to renew their membership.
I'm not sure why they don't have something more finalized by now, considering they are saying they'll have carded ones at JoeCon in what, a month?
I don't care how many people are bitching to see something, you either do something right the first time, or wait until it's ready. Showing something half-assed may lose more customers than showing nothing at all.

No, it will be bagged, and the card will likely be dented to hell as they bag the figure with the card art-side facing the figure, and then they cram it into a small box.
The carded ones will be available at JoeCon, and if they do like they did last year, carded ones should be available along with extras sometime after all members receive their "free" bagged versions. Carded last year were $35 or so if you were lucky enough to get them at the time they hit the store for members. If they do like the year before with Dial-Tone, good luck getting a carded one for less than $200.
I'm just laughing. There hasn't been a single Club figure in the ME that I thought was quality, but this is by far one of the worst I've seen. If this is 75% of what the figure will look like, I'll still say it's garbage. If this represents less than 75% then I really question why bother showing it? If you thought people were bitching before, they're going to bitch when you show them junk. But hey, their arms are tied. They have to make it look as close to the original as possible, even if it means it looks like garbage, because no one wants a really awesome modern take on a classic character.
This figure is far from being junk. And it doesn't take much to read that this a placeholder and then be able to draw conclusions based on what changes you know(because they told us) will be made for the final product. It sounds to me like you weren't a fan of the original design to begin with which means this figure wasn't meant to be for you anyway.
but this way... if it looks much better in a month, people are excited!

Not sure why but I've had great luck getting the carded figs. I got 2 Dial Tones and a Footloose. I made a few bucks off the DT's and scalped the shit out of the FL

DT, if he wasn't carded, wasn't worth keeping. I know, because I sold my bagged one off.

Honestly, I guess I need to re-register this year. I got an email saying that my account would be auto-renewed, but I have no idea with what funds. I paid with money orders last year after their fuckup with the credit card thing. They don't have a card on file!

Yea I think I made like $12 off you or something lol. If anything, keep your second account to sell off a IB. I just sold my carded FL for $140
