Thanks Rick! I try to stick to the big guns since I can take them for a spin in the yard and the mechanical side of things with these tanks is half the fun.

Added 2 D batteries in the nose and some old heavy sockets in the middle to add weight. It really took the bounce out of the normal bumps and has great traction in grass now.

I've been looking at some photos online and I've come to the conclusion that GI Joe figures are pretty much to close enough to scale with the ZTZ-99. Shame it costs so much.
