What the Cobra mecha should have looked like:

I saw the Hot Toys snap kits on eBay, but I held off buying them due to the scale. They look quite good. Are they articulated at all?

I just ordered a 1/18 Deunan by Yujin, with articulation similar to Microman figures.

EDIT: Note to self - Never surf this forum and eBay at the same time!

Hmm... Headinsand emoticon is apparently worthless.

The Hot Toys snap kits are better than modern Joe articulation due to the hinged ball-joints in elbows, wrists, knees and ankles (except for tiny Deunan). I will say they are fragile in comparison to Hasbro, but details and paint are very fine.

What is that mech and how can I get one?

it's from Appleseed. Just look up Appleseed snap kits.

Fuck that shit. I hate buying stuff online, especially if it's coming from China/Hong Kong. Always takes a month to get here. And with my last experience, the seller shoved the item up his ass before sending it to me. Besides, I don't want it badly enough to wait a month. Nor do I feel like paying more than $20.

PS: Did you see how the Humvee is packaged? FUUUUCK no. No way in hell I'd risk the money, only to have it shipped naked like that.

You have to buy a complete case of the figures (duplicate set of 5) in order to build the landmate. Each figure comes with one piece and only a fresh case guarantees you will have the correct parts. I had to cough up over $100, but I still really wanted it after holding off for two years.

the same price to ship it as it costs to buy it...how much does a plastic truck weigh?!

Unfortunately it's the only option for people like me who are unfortunate enough to live in a place with no usable 1/18 stuff except a few Lanard Corps figures and a toy store that only replenishes its limited PTE range once a year.

Thank you. Wish I knew how to take better photos.

The baby is Lucy. That robot is from Ashley Woods "World War Robot" or also, "Zombies vs. Robots". In the story, all humans have been turned into zombies by a virus brought here from the future. Lucy is the only remaining human whom the robots intend on cloning to help bring back the human species.
This was a rough attempt at bringing two universes together.
