Banned, per SOP. I got into it a few times with him, and he could be a jackass, but he was okay. You just had to get used to him.

I think OG13 had a Gunslinger appreciation thread where people, like myself, discuss how we miss his endless onslaught on unsuspecting posters.

I feel bad for the people in his real life that had to deal with him while he was going through his internet disappearing act.

Don't worry. Hisstank will be counting how many posters have him shortly after the convention.

Sad fact: I'm actually getting this set (at a large discount because of extra people involved) to review for the site. I'm hoping to sell the figures I don't want to make back what I spent.

I'm not gonna lie, there's a few I'm not proud to say I want, but I want them. It's roughly half, which is on par with most of their fucking "sets" or "subscriptions" or what have you. Where you're stuck buying 100% overpriced turd to get the ~50% mediocre-but-acceptable turds that you do want.

And the damning fact is that it's still cheaper than eBay, so long as you want that 45-55% ballpark range.

Each con set, I wish I could get at least a few that I could customize. Unfortunately, I don't feel like spending that kind of money in order to do that. This set, I probably would avoid it, even if it was regular retail prices.

I don't want a single damn figure in the set LOL.

Some of them are acceptable or kinda cool but not a single figure is a must have.

Maybe a head sculpt or two, which the casting gods will supply, but otherwise pretty disappoint.

I just can't believe that the Con is a little over a month away and they still haven't gotten their fucking registration up. What a joke.

Well, like I said earlier in the year… Like, back in, well, last year? When I was considering skipping SDCC and going to JoeCon for once? Just to mix it up, ya know. Well, I wanted to go then.

I have no idea how they can take someone like me, who hates every other thing they do, yet was still willing to give them a shot (and I guess take one for the team since we never have anyone "official" from our site) and completely blows my half-fuck out of the water. I mean, hotel block tickets sold out months ago, right? Morons, you get the tickets to the fucking show first, THEN a hotel. It's how SDCC or ANY other vacation works.

Not the Club. :whatever:

I don't think they'd be good custom fodder just for how bright they are. Half of them will burn right through the primer.

Maybe since the set is so horribly sh!tty, they don't expect a good turnout?

I really don't understand the wait...I mean, what's the point?...I'm guessing they aren't holding off on purpose...I'd bet they have no choice, something is f*%#ed up...no surprise considering it's the club...

It's because they have no idea how to set up an online registration in the first place and then they try to set up a new one every year.

Big surprise that I got an email this morning from ONE of my 2 Club memberships that said that my credit card on file was declined.

I go to their site to check the info on said account, and the info is correct and I have a 2014 membership in my "purchase history" except I can't actually process it or edit the CC info for it to actually process. (My other account has it listed with an actual invoice.)

And this is for membership registration, their baseline entry method. Not specialty items like 'Con registration. There is absolutely no reason that it should be a different registration site for JoeCon, FSS and regular Club membership.

:crying: sounds like more CC issues, hope I am wrong. But that might explain why they are holding back registration.

Maybe they are on to your little shenanigans. They want to spread the misery around, you shouldn't be allowed to have DOUBLE misery!

But then how will Eddie get his G.I.Joe figures that he doesn't collect or support anymore

So the club posts on Facebook that they had 2 unlikes...... Didn't realize that was a thing so now they have 3. I don't really buy anything from them & any info they post I can get here. :)

:talktothehand: it's not for me...it's so that psycho can have an opener and an MOC...

Though, he does occasionally buy extras when it's possible to test my will...:shakefist:

I actually do have that second account for him, but I also use it to get mutables for other members here.

The few times that it comes in handy would barely be worth the effort of a second membership, though, if it wasn't essentially "free".

Hah. Club email:

Hello everyone!

We just came back from the Hyatt in Dallas and we are very excited about the show. The venue is wonderful and the indoor parachute drop is going to be spectacular!

We are still working on the code for registration. We are very close and the company doing this work is VERY far behind. We are just a frustrated as you are, but it will get done.

The window for registration may not be very long and we apologize to the folks that don't know when to make the airline ticket purchases. My suggestion is to book your tickets and come for the longest time you can. Worst case if you don't get into the class (which for the past several years we have been able to accommodate virtually everyone that wanted the class) there are tons of things to do in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The tour on Thursday can be enlarged for the number we need to tour. The Wednesday Fort Worth Tour is pretty limited and we can't do much about that as they only have a certain number of Segways.

Again, we apologize that this is taking so long as the new code is designed to fix problems the old code had. And this will solve the problems for years to come.

Thanks for your support!

Brian
