Jonny Quest "Animated"

Those of us who grew up in the 70's remember watchin' Jonny Quest... the teen adventurer. Well, this custom started out as an experiment in articulation... I was tryin' 2 C how much articulation I could get w/ the stuff I had layin' around. The base fig had 21 points of articulation & I added another 8, for a final total of 29 points of articulation (I think my math is correct). 11 Hrs. non-stop - w/ the exception of cigarette, coffee, restroom & snack breaks... from disassembly 2 paint & pics this is what I had completed.

RECIPE:

BASE = 6" Animated Black Costumed Spider-Man (chest & back logo sanded off)
HEAD = Secret Saturdays Zak Saturday (hair slightly trimmed)
LOWER ARMS (from the biceps down) = Secret Saturdays Doyle (2 new articulation points)
HANDS = From base fig
LOWER LEGS (from the calves down) = Marvel Legends Wolverine (6 new articulation points)
GEAR = Pistol from fodder - Holster is rubber grip from disposable razor w/ ponytail holders for straps - Left wrist bandana from Star Wars Unleashed Aurra Sing - Belt & pouches from Star Wars 12" Anakin (Episode 1) trimmed down 2 fit - Dagger & sheath from 3.75" MU Union Jack - Left thigh strap & pouches from unknown Star Wars 3.75" fig - Jetpack from Secret Saturdays Doyle - Flashlight from Secret Saturdays Zak Saturday Cryptid Claw cut down & drilled out w/ chrome pin inserted for reflective effect
PAINT = Complete repaint from head 2 toe w/ acrylics

I like adventurous movie. Such as Indiana Jones series. I have some memory with traveling. i can share it with you. If you are interested then knock me here. I have some good and bad experience in traveling.

Didn't have to be alive in the 70's to have seen Jonny Quest. I have a Voltar head cast waiting for a Benton Quest paint job.

Hell, I even enjoyed the 1990s version, the one where Jonny and Hadji (and Race Bannon's daughter!) were 16 or so.
