JSI MERIT 1:18 Me-262

I forgot about this at SDCC.. but they had on display a Me-262 that, from what I recall, should be coming out this year.

For some reason I thought the Me-262 and the F-86 were already released so I didn't pay much attention to them.

I put a word out to Merit, but haven't heard back yet.

I may or may not bite, as I already have the Admiral edition of this bird.

Did they put a card in front of it or indicate how much it would cost?

The 2 seater night fighter was very nice, but just wasn't the same. Either models will be far superior to Admiral's as is the F-86.

No, they didn't have much space for a booth setup, most of it was dedicated to their retail store stuff. They were also sharing booth space with another company.

I had initially assumed it was the Admiral version or something, but I seem to recall (a tape recorder would have come in handy..) Tony saying it was all new tooling on the Me-262.

Odd. I wonder if it's just a retooled 21st Century one. Admiral would be a step backwards.

I still kind of want an Admiral "Weiße Sieben". Just an outside-the-box scheme to go with.
