LOD - The Road Warriors

Since a few people are buying the Jakks Figures I figured I would show what I did with the few I got. When the WWE ones were on the shelf I was patiently waiting for the Road Warriors (my favorite wreslters of all time) to be released, but alas they were cancelled. So I made my own. Here is what I came up with. I sculpted the shoulder pads which I plan to revisit someday. Animals head was Ripper, I just sanded the glasses and side hair off. Hawks head was a PTE head that i sanded hair off and sculpted his reverse mohawk.

This was my first versions of them before I got the Jakks figures.

Damn, that's some old school wrestling stuff there. I think they look good. Wish I wouldn't have passed on the WWF/E stuff, but it always looked so small in person.

Holy crap, Med!! Excellent job on modding those sculpts to look like the Road Warriors/LOD. Both headsculpts look flawless to me, from the sculpts to the paint (sick paint apps on such a small scale). Brings back memories. They were my favorite back in the day when I was a kid.
