This is a tribute to the 90's comics, not the movie. I have to say that I think this is one of the best customs I've made so far...although my wife says that spot is still held by zombie Abe Lincoln.

It went off much as I planned with some last minute choices that ended up adding to the look.

-Dr. Rex body with extended lower legs
-Tomahawk extended arms
-modified Shadow Tracker head
-Matt Trakker harness
-classic Televiper backpack
-SW Ep.1 accessory pack rifle
-Star Trek reboot belt
-Star Wars Quinlon Vos pistol

The mantel that the helmet rests on was built up using miliput while the hoses and regulator were from other figures. And yes, the helmet is supposed to look flat on the top, that's how they were illustrated in the 90's comic, and luckily I happened to have something that was perfect for this. The reason why I extended the arms and legs was that I wanted him to be tall and lanky, but even with this he's only a smidge taller than an average Joe figure.

And I think I may have found the key to taking clear pictures, taking them outside in the blinding 90 degree sun! The first three pictures were taken outside and look the best of all of them.

I really dig it! Lanky is good for this one.

Glad you like it! Now all I need is a "damsel in distress" to go with it, or a partially disintegrated human soldier.

Creepy . . . CREEPY - I like it!!

When you say a "smidge" taller than the average Joe, how much is a smidge? Cause he looks like from head to shoulders he'd be a good 3.75".

Good work!

With his helmet off I'd say he's just under a quarter of an inch taller than a Joe.

Thank you Eddie! And I actually wasn't too happy with that part. I've sculpted more than a few brains (see my Micronaut alien customs) and those turned out really well. For some reason this one didn't turn out the same...but it was good enough.
