100 bucks for a Hog repaint. One, I might add, of likely dubious accuracy. And they STILL haven't removed the damn line cutter!

I've yet to find a photo of a 174th Hog that had the M5 decorated with the teeth in that manner.

Eh, should have at least put something else on the universal mount.

How well do GI Joes fit (as well as 21st and Unimax figures) in this? I may opt for this over a Millinum Falcon.

Most Joes will fit in the crew seats. The cabin is a little more cramped. Then again, these are gunships and not personel haulers. The bulkhead is recessed too far, so door gunners on the edge of the bench isn't gonna happen.

Funny, I saw several for under 100 a few weeks back.

Not that i care. If you don't have a Huey, go for it. I just think some mods were in order.

They certainly look WAAAAAY cooler than in it/by it/on it/under it than anything Habro has put out EVER...

Not sure I need another Huey...

Due to lack of room, I haven't been looking. That's good to know the price is coming down.

It had been. Might spike due to the holidays, or maybe drop lower because of th new edition.

Damn, I wish I could fabricate.

Mine went in fine. I did cut off his abortion-holsters first, though.

Still looking to do a custom WB. The factory one is....mediocre.

It's nice to see new Hueys on the market. The scalpers fees on eBay are retarded. I, like many others, wish I had picked up a few of the hundreds that flooded my local Wal-Mart for $20-$30 back in the day. It is disappointing that these toy companies that keep promising us new Hueys can do nothing more than make casts from the 21st Century Toys molds. These were great when they first came out, but a retooling is in order. The bulkhead needs moved forward considerably for one. That mistake really burns me. And I would LOVE a UH-1D. Granted, I was born in the early 80's, and I grew up knowing about the Vietnam War from movies and photos... but the most recognizable bird to me is the D model. These gunships are cool, and I have a use for them, but I would like more transports than gunships.

Glad I'm not the only one miffed about the bulkhead spacing.

According to the article on Merit's site there will be other variations in this series. What this might suggest I have no idea. Different schemes/liveries or something else perhaps.

The world may never know....12/21/12 lol

If they really want to impress they'll find the mold for the M5-less fuselage and do "Strawberry Bitch" from the 121st.

Found this trying to get a tail number for "Spades".

That's what she's supposed to look like. Well, minus the line cutter.

Part of it's because the M5 turret is painted to match the nose, and it shouldn't be. That will be an easy thing to fix.

Here's "Ace of Spades" sans turret.

Lots of photos of that bird out there.

The caption claims that ground fire impacted one of the rockets.

Yup. It'll take longer to tape off than to spray it.

So it did exist. It's not even remotely accurate, but at least it wasn't pulled out of their ass.

Edit: Seems that was Shark 137. There were two Ace of Spades (#170 and #470). Who knows if one of them wore that livery.
