Messing with casting

I casted some simple things when Neca first announced their Colonial Marine figures. This is my first time casting a lot of more intricate pieces though.
I'm working on a Vietnam project, grunts, SOG, NVA, VC, the works. Some of the parts I need a lot of though, like weapons and chest rigs. I've made these using easy cast and amazing mold putty. Most of them turn out great, but others end up being "rubbery" and unusable and I'm not sure why.
Here's what I've done so far, the hardest things are the rifles and the helmets.

Very nice. I'm working on the same exact thing, Personal project. Your parts are rubbery cause your not mixing the resin correctly, to much of the B side.

Looks like first series 21st Century items. I can see why you'd do the NVA stuff, but there are better M16A1s and AK pattern rifles available.

Still, nice to see someone else into 'Nam stuff.
