Been a while since I posted here...usually just post my stuff on Facebook groups (so much easier honestly) but thought I would share all my progress pics and final pics of my summer project - turning the Jurassic Park truck I bought on clearance for $8.00 into a MRAP.

Very cool.. do you have any shots of it next to 1:18 scale vehicles? Curious how it looks next to a HMMWV/etc.

Thanks all - I was fun (sometimes frustrating due to only glue I could get to work was hot glue).

Do you wash everything and scrub it in hot water before you do any fabricating ? This helps with glue, or super glue, also sanding area to be glued helps, I take everything apart and use a scuff pad / sponge and dish soap in hot water and tooth brush in corners to clean all mold release and skin oils from your hands
