My 1;6th Dutch custom

Finally started putting together a Dutch custom. I've been scavenging parts off eBay for the past year. I've got the final parts in route. Here's what I have so far.....


I wanted to use the Heroik body, but thought the neck was too wide. I wound up using a Hot Toys True Type.....

I cut the neck down, so the head would sit lower. And that was a mistake. The rubber keeps getting out of shape when you turn the head now. =(
(The head looks really yellow!)

Here's the True Type body...

And the parts I gathered....

The rest of the bits needed should arrive in a week or so.

The Heroik body I'm saving for a Road Pig custom. =) So it'll get used.

Looks like you're piecing together a Hot Toys one for the most part (not that I think there's anything wrong with that).

Heads different though, correct?

I couldn't find a HT head for under $75. This was $25 shipped. Everything else, except the head and pants are HT parts. In the end he'll cost me just under $200.

Probably cheaper than what a boxed Dutch is fetching. HTs get absurd on the secondary.

The HT Dutch is right around $400.

A lot of the HeadPlay heads are nearly Hot Toys quality, but without the Hot Toys price.

Looks great, that KP head cracks me up every time I see it, looks like an inflate-a-mate. I wanted to use that body for my SGT Slaughter, but the shoulder joints are a deal breaker.
