Need a new Footloose head. Suggestions?

I'd like to make a new "custom" Footloose by virtue of a simple head swap. I don't feel like shelling out the big bucks for the GIJCC version of him on ebay, so that option is out. Today I bought the Star Wars figure Biggs Darklighter, since he has a decent moustache, but he has so much hair that none of the various helmets in my parts box fit on his head.

I do have the Footloose V4 from the Toys R Us exclusive troop builder 5 pack, but that just doesn't look like Footloose to me, especially his thin moustache. Even after I painted a thicker moustache on him it didn't look good.

I don't have the talent to paint one of those custom heads by Slayer or Broken Arrow. The eyes would be the most difficult for me, especially.

Any suggestions of any Star Wars figures with a moustache that I don't know about, or some line of other 1:18 scale figures?

I'd just buy a cast of the GIJCC version from TofuJesse (he did the helmet, too) then send it to someone for painting if I didn't have the skillz.....

I've done two different Footlooses and I don't like either of the heads I used. One was Biggs, the other was Obi Won from RotS with the beard polished off.

Would the 25th Recondo work or is it just as goofy?

I thought about the 25th Recondo but I don't like his 'stache or his hairstyle, even though it would be hidden beneath the helmet. To me it's just not Footloose. I see 25th Recondo and not Footloose when I think about using that head.

I found a Star Wars figure, Major Bren Derlin, that has a moustache, but I'm unsure if his hat is removable or if it's a simple pop-off head. Anyone familiar with this one???

I got the Biggs head for the same purpose as you, but the hair is gigantic. Most helmets won't fit on him easily, and ones that will, will look ridiculous.

I can just sell you my Footloose custom if you want it... I should probably get rid of him since I got the Club version. I have the TRU 5-pack Footloose head, which works quite well. I also have the SDS Footloose head painted up, but for some reason, I didn't like it that much. Of all the heads they did, it's one of my least favorite.

Painting issues aside, BA has a good cast. Sure, you'll have to wait ~3 months for it to arrive, but the head and helmet are pretty nice if you can wait.

Tofujesse sells the same cast, and I imagine you'd get it in a lot less time for less cost, too. That seems to be the same as the GIJCC one.

This is one I did with an altered Obi Won head.

I was actually going to suggest the Obi from RotS and link it to your custom FL using it. Glad I don't have to hunt it down now. This is the route I'm going to go.

I think so, but I'm not sure. I got the one that came with the all-black suit with gigantor helmet. It's like twice the size of a regular Joe's helmet. Reminds me of Lord Helmet from Spaceballs.

The Biggs I used on my first custom FL was the the one where he has his X-wing pilot suit on. The hair on the sculpt is more flat, but I still had to dremel Bazooka's helmet to get it to fit.

I got mine from Jesse as well. perfect cast from the exclusive one. Helmet was the hardest part for me to paint.

Giga, That head is fantastic. You can paint a head superbly! Your flesh tones are always so damn perfect.

I used a Yavin Honor Guard head. Which funny enough looks like Burt Reynolds from Deliverance.
