Most of us are waiting for BBTS. I think come April (or whenever they actually ship) you'll see a lot more shots of these. I know I have plans for one.

I want to report just how dangerous this rig is. It got crazy hot. Fast. I found myself just hoping on hope that it didn't burst into flames.

It ended up melting the polystyrene, which I will use to help create the crater effect. But still!

You might want to consider switching over to LEDs as they will be safer. They don't need to "warm up" like florestants, & are not as hot in incandescent lights.

If you ever consider doing a permanent display where you would turn & off the explosion at will, LEDs would be the way to go.

I found that last picture of the damage funny (sorry), but not because of the damage, but the guy flying in the air.

I don't know why.

It really was mostly accidental. I was just getting shots of the accessory set I'd been working on.
