I was looking through some old photos on my hard drive and I found these Lazy Boy Customs I did last year (when I was just getting into 1:18 and Joes).

I got such a positive reaction at Joe Dios I'm gonna put this in here. This is based on a WWII photo I saw in a book I have. The original depicted a Whermacht soldier going door to door.

Going to shoot this with the openings lined with tin foil, put some shredded paper in them and lightem up so these two guys look as if they are getting out of an Abrams that has been hit hard.

Here's what I am shooting for. Engine on fire is awesome too

In process of making a dio called "Pinned Down"

I used tinfoil to line inside and lit a shortented candle. Not enough smoke.

Rick you may want to try using a piece of glass. It will reflect the fire and give the illusion the tank is on fire. Not saying it will be easy but its an old fashioned movie trick that may work.

Man, that is way cool. i love the helmetless look. I really like the fact you chose to use a trooper head for them, They still remain kinda anonomous with main helmet off.

Well there wasn't a lot of choice really. I don't have many heads that don't have some headgear, those tend to be female heads. I always liked that Cobras are anonymous from the commander right down to the grunts. Nobody could ever say exactly who did what because they all look the same.
