I don't give a damn about the boxed set... I just want the figures. If they came carded, it'd be a different thing, but a box is a fucking box. It's not worth the $100 pricetag difference, if you ask me.

I think whether or not I will have nacho pick up a bagged set for me will depend heavily on Horrorshow...if he's a POS, I think I'll pass...

Anyone else feeling this way?

not really for me. I like the majority of the Russians. The IG's I will sell or trade off. Might keep 1 of each. The big factor for me right now is the price tag

Well, regardless of who picks up my 2nd set, I'll split it with someone here first. Or, if no takers, off to eBay. But I'd rather get the first set and recoup a little cost and help someone else snag a set too.

At the very worst, I want one set. Is it me, or are they being such fuckers this year over this more than others? Or is it the fact that I've never given a damn to actually buy the entire set until this year?

I like Voltar and the first four ruskies...I'm hoping HS kicks a$$...and I do like iron bear, but the fact that he's based on basically no one makes him much less desirable...

But I think everyone and their mother wants to unload their IG trash...not so sure it's gonna be as easy as everyone thinks...the market may be saturated...too much supply...not enough demand

They love those fucking Shadow Tracker legs, don't they? They don't work well with the Reso RB lowers. I'm wondering what is under that 'jacket'. What is that under part? I can tell it's Shadow Trackers vest, but the longer lower part may be new. The Skydive arms work though.

German anti-tank rocket, South Korean shotgun. Odd use of parts. Like the head, but the rest is...different.

Bet we never see the PzF 3 again. :(

Those gapped knee joints look all sorts of terrible. ROC Heavy Duty/Bench Press legs would've looked fine. I'm so tired of those damned Roadblock legs.

I think Horror Show is a little more disappointing than Iron Bear. Why doesn't he come with an RPG-7? Why the automatic shotgun? And lastly, what is going on with his poncho-coat-skirt thing? His hat looks like it is molded to his head, and yet Diana is not like that at all.

I have to say that the Overall Joe-Con set this year is not worth full price. Almost all of the IG figures are below collector premium standard, and Horror Show spits the final nail into the coffin for this. I wasn't going to buy this set before, because it costs too much as it is, but with over half the figures in this set having a below premium grade quality, I don't think collectors should gun for this set. Sure you'd get about four good Oktober Guard figures, but it would be way less expensive to just customize your own than spend $300+ for a handful of figures.

I just now noticed that Horrorshow's legs consist of the Shadow Tracker upper legs with the Night Adder/Resolute RB lower legs... :wtf:

People are pretty hard on this figure and the set in general... then the minute the club sells out of these, people will be shitting their pants and gnashing their teeth, "why, oh why didn't I buy that set. It would have been so much cheaper than paying the $90 each that the OG figures are fetching on ebay!"

I can hear it now. Happens every time.

I like all the figures (even the IGs) minus Horrorshow. Ugh. That vest and leg mismatch kills it. They should have just gone with the Moneybags Destro vest and called it good there.

Wish they'd show a OG group shot...bet they all look great together...and I think I like HSs molded on hat (?) better than Dainas...I'm thinking hers will end up looking extra bulky...

Anyway, HSs head looks great, coat garb looks odd, I'm fine with the legs...though on half of the OG figs, most of their clothing doesn't have an 80s feel to it...I think it's the modern type armor crap...

So I'm in....the OG will look great displayed...though I have NO idea where that will take place...

In Soviet Russia, RPG fire you!

Youtube "RPG Accident" and see how true that is... sometimes with hilarious results, depending on who is shooting....

In less hilarious, more tragic truths, I had a classmate from college nearly killed by a faulty one in 'Stan two years ago. Nearly ended up with shards in his heart, a' la Tony Stark. He got very lucky and was able to make a full recovery.

Not I. Most of the set is shite, and I will stand by that assesment, and the amount of fucks given when it it inevitably sells out will be 0. In fact I can't wait to hear the bitching. It'll be a nice appetizer for The Great Jinx Debacle of 2012

The last 21 years of our involvment with ass-backwards peoples supplied by Soviet surplus are rife with tales of RPG 7 rounds that have punched into targets and failed (thankfully) to detonate.
