Any of you fellas that work with soft goods have any ideas on pulling off the fabric?

Well, the one idea that comes to mind is getting something like shop towels and soaking them in Elmers glue, placing plastic wrap over the figure, and drapping the soaked towel over the figure...rearranging the folds as desired, and allow to dry.

But once dry, the "cloth" will still be a bit stiff.

I thought I was gonna work on a gladius today, but it appears the Angel Forge didn't bother to send it.

I'm in the process of cleaning up some customs and painting some heads as part of a promotion to get money for those gorilla figures.

Here's a couple of the heads.

Damn, that head is familiar. On the site it looks kinda like Pamela Anderson, but this time it looks like that adult actress whose name escapes me.

some finally painted (and repainted) TWD figures.

angelforge torso for daryl has his arm holes way too low. that vest isnt helping either but atleast it makes his shoulders look broader.

work in progress of the Godfather
the vest needs to be sanded down further and smoothed out. The Doc Ock legs make him look huge. Brando was only 5'9" IRL.

hope everyone here has a happy 4th:slug::hijack:

I have the resized coats from both TWD figures. Daryl's is kinda hard to use tho. A split SS torso has to be slid in,then spread, and the arms popped in from the sides, because there's no snaps or none of that. The grizzled Rick head was sized for the ROC hawk body, and so was the coat. I have rick's AK as well. If I was home I'd take a pic of the ones in my work area.

here's what I came up with last weekend for the guy I'm making. I have ideas for a group of them:D just haven't had much time last month to do much of anything.

I have to cast the arms in brown still, and make molds of the torso. I need to locate my Monkeywrench dog tags, and I'll probably slightly shrink some of the gijoe bullet chains to wrap around his chest as well. I'd really like to shrink ML Nuke's belt for this figure!! It's a nice belt with pouches, and it'll conceal those hip joints a tad...

Did a stand for my Dokuroman skeleton so he can hang out in the Schleich museum née nursery, then I did some hair down there on that HACKS buck.

I need to decide if I'm gonna sacrifice the hip piece on my slave Leia or buy an expensive BFS accessory set for one piece.

Finally painted up Gail. Took too many tries so now I don't know if it's the layers of paint or the sculpt that's uninspiring.

Those earrings are impossible

Your paint work is exquisite! Some of the best I've seen in this hobby Giga Bread!

Which part? I think the female armor parts from the packs are on other figures, and I have one of everything except the snake people,..wasn't into it. I think the youngest gorgon sister has the fabric looking waste thing?

They're fun to fiddle with, no doubt.

My Kopides both turned out Hercules-sized, so I'm gonna have to try again.

I'm working on a project of painting a lot of shiny helmet heads. I found, what I believe, to be one of the silver spray paints out there. Perfect amount of shine. Not quite chrome, but I actually think chrome is a little distracting and needs to be constantly cleaned.

Anyways, I'm using masking fluid as a blocker, and liquitex transparent spraysfor the area that is supposed to be metallic red. Here's the problem, it beads and pools on my perfect silver because the transparent spray is water based. Anyone got a trick to work around this? A gloss coat that can work with water based paints?

I've heard of people using Future floor wax as a sealer, it should work well with water based paint.

Working on a beilpicke for my ARW trench raider. It's larger than a real-life one, but I'm still getting a handle on this whole fabrication thing.

Mass painting custom cast heads. I think I've got it down.

The frisket technique I'm using to spray all of my Slice heads with Super Silver is working great.

On a serious note mate.. How much would you charge up front for the shrinkage of A 1/6 Andy Whitfield head to HACKS Scale?

You knows I needs me a Spartacus!!

I've been watching them on eBay for ever!!!! I want the Manu and Andy heads sooooo bad! Every time I look they're only BIN,and I miss the auctioned ones..knowing I can pay less with good timing is what's deterring the purchase.

Contraband, any way I could entice you to shrink that head? Angry Nomad doesn't have it on his site.

I'll do it eventually, that's why I have the figure. Now distribution may suck tho:trollface:

**not my cast**

But in my temporary possession:trollface:

The shoulder sockets are still a little loose, but it is difficult to close the gap with super glue without the shoulder joint locking up..
