Yeah, Digler is doing thing with the toys most of us wish we had the time/talent/energy for, besides the "Bs without the Bs", it's exactly what we'd all hoped to do when we started this site. I have no issues giving him space to flourish!
I've offered space to Pickelhaube in the past, he's free to take me up on the offer whenever he wants!
And frankly, any creator who is going above and beyond can get a section if they can fill it with content. I can't really think of anyone else at the moment, but you never know.
How tied-in is Slay with MGRs? Could he offer some behind the scenes or coming soon (assuming they don't already have that elsewhere)?

Making some more forum changes.. combining stuff.. we had a lot of sub forums that have barely been used in years, so folding those into the existing ones. If the demand increases it's easy to split things out again, but it's nice to streamline things a little.
I'm working on a full design update right now (I'm using it and you're not, neener neener neeener!). Hopefully it'll be live for all by end of day, but I might keep it cooking over the weekend to iron out any bugs. It's tentatively titled "Western Front".

Okay.. I think the new design is more or less ready to go.
I fixed the background issue. The logo/header image is still really tiny on mobile, and I'm not entirely sure why.. but it's not a huge issue.

Something weird happening with the background (at least on my ipad). The wallpaper is only displaying at the top, goes white when I scroll down.
Hmm. It should be fixed in place so it doesn't move when you scroll. iPad you say? Will have to test that on the iPad later tonight when I get home.

Also added a few features/etc for the text editor, most people won't care, but there is some added functionality if you want to make pretty posts.

From what I can tell, it only has background the size of the screen. When I scroll down, it stays at the top.
My Ithingies have been displaying the backround like that since The Change regardless of the theme used.
Should be a black background now. My wife has an iPad so I'll try some tests with that. It was working fine on my Note8 and Pcs...
The ancient Surface RT displays it beautifully! All hail Microsoft! Even their shitty, never adopted tech works better than the I-thingies.
How is everything working? I didn't see any major errors over the weekend, so that's good.

MR told me that the search function wasn't working right. He searched for the eddieism thread by title and couldn't find it. I just tried it and had the same issue.

I think it searches content not title as well? And no one says "Eddieism" in the thread itself.. so maybe that's why it wasn't showing up? It might have been way back in the searches. Need to look at the search options possibly.

Only the bots, crawlers and worms noticed the outage. Our IT guru Ralphie probably should have checked the traffic before throwing himself out the window.
