Hey guys, I was looking at throw on a computer, and they look kinda bad quality wise. Is it just my computer?
I just save the banner pic from up above the forum. Open in paint and white-out everything but border. Copy what is leftover. Open photo you want to use in MS Paint and paste the border onto it (make sure the see through white button is clicked), move it around till you find the spot you want and save it. Now open it in an image editor and crop it out. If I want a different size to see more of picture I just equally reduce the entire raw image down in MS Paint (resize function but keep percentages even) than do step 2. you will never get a distorted picture this way.

what is the resolution of your monitor and graphics card, if the resolution of the pics is higher than them, you will still only see a pic as good as the they will do, not the true quality of the pic.
They are quite clear on mine. Clean and crisp, but I run dual monitors on a GeForce GTX275 at 1680x1050. Makes a world of difference.
right click on your desktop, hit properties or personalize depending on operating system. You will find display options in there, crank the resolution as high as it will go. It should not show you options your cpu can not handle so dont worry about that.
