With this method they talk about if you used a gray mask instead of the green it would make a pretty cool thermal image shot since they have you invert the colors to get a certain effect.

Unfortunately i don't have the green filter lens from an MX-991/U, only the blue and red ones, and i dunno if i could get only the green at a surplus store.

how would that work with the focusing?...would the cross hairs be blurred if you were focused on figures?
Photobucket does have a decent add on. Snakeling has used it in a few shots.
This method in the article could actually be used better for thermal I think. Since they have you invert the colors it would look way better applied like that I believe.

Yeah, Adobe is the only "Photoshop". There's other editing software, but that's the only officially-branded software by that name.
