Windex is AWESOME... and a hell of a lot cheaper than paying $3 for a tiny bottle of thinner from any of the major paint brands.
The blow dryer is another good point CS, I didn't start using that on figs until the last 6 months or so. Definitely cuts down drying/waiting time. I recall using it in Art class back in highschool and college, but I never thought to apply it when I first started doing customs.

I use a little spaceheater to dry my paints on figures, as well as harden sculpey, and soften the figures to pop joints apart. Im too lazy to hold a hairdryer and this allows me to set multiple items in front to dry.
