Then you have overseas guys like me who will NEVER see these toys at retail, and have no choice but to pay scalper prices. It ain't right.
no doubt! I don't blame or judge anybody overseas that pay extreme prices because they have no choice.
That being said. Whenever the figs do hit US retail, send me a shopping list Fled and I will send them to you for cost plus shipping. That goes for any toyline that you can't get.

What I've read is, he either works at Hasbro's overseas distro, or knows someone who does. The figures he has are one offs, or have slight defects. A couple of star wars figures I've bought in the past have been missing soft good parts, or have crappy paint jobs...well...worse than what we get at times.

Yeah, but with this head I'd at least consider buying him. The wraith head looked even worse.
ROC toyline was sold here in Australia so why not Retaliation also?

I sincerely hope that stores do stock the new figures, especially considering the lukewarm sales of the ROC line (and all the other movie tie-in toys currently warming pegs everywhere).
And if they do stock them and end up with non-movers, I might get lucky and find them in places like Toyworld or The Reject Shop, six months later, at $2.50 apiece.

You might be surprised. Their international distribution announcements were before the movie got pushed back to a March release date where there's going to be cancelled retail orders. They're going to have to find places to sell the product that was already made last year.
I don't know about that. I always figured it was far more likely for Leatherneck and Wet-suit to have that kind of problem. You know, because of the way they were always flirting with each other in the cartoon, while Shipwreck jacked off in the back ground.
Although with that mug on Lady Jay right now I would not be surprised if Flint decided to switch teams.

I'm just hoping to have plenty of cobra ninja troopers (the shock trooper repaint). That's my favorite troop builder and it improves the one weak area, the head. It looks like we're getting a proper balaclava head, plus a nice helmet that looks kind of like a Crye Precision helm.
If I remember correctly,the movie accurate Cobra Troopers that come with a rocket launcher and a flag come with a neat alternate head sculpt. It reminds me of a character from Metal Gear Solid.
