Yeah, that Optimus Prime is pretty frickin' sweet! I'll have to look up Rodimus Prime as I don't know anything about him, but like you said, if he's a car and Optimus is a semi, there probably pretty close in scale to one another.

i think i like the classic colors better, though the exclusive set looks better displayed "in disquise"

I do, I have both the Wal-Mart Skywarp and Takara version, and the Takara Tundercracker. Hasbro hasn't released a proper US version yet.

They're in boxes in my closet, I haven't taken them out recently.

I need to put away my Joes first. My girlfriend will literally kill me if I don't. Our guest bedroom is a mess, it's even bugging me. I don't actually have a big enough space to shoot all six!

And don't worry, I may move the non-iGear discussion back to the Takara thread. For the time being it doesn't bother me.

BTW, Eddie... "Free bumps" sounds like something you'd get from a hooker.

Yeah, I have boxes and junk all over the place in the "Hobby Room" at my house. It's pretty bad. I really need to clean it.

Yeah, it's um, gotten bad. Actually, 2010-2011 has seen a huge jump in Joe purchase for me. Considering that the awesome cancelled ROC stuff showed up at ROSS, plus the Resolute sets came out, and the DOCI/AOCI went to ROSS, and the awesome POC figures... and now I've gotten into dio-building and started buying 1:18th vehicles. Shit, last thing I needed was Rodimus, 3 jets, and now Devastator showing up on my doorstep.

Good thing is, if she kicks me out before we get married, I won't have to deal with a divorce. :(

It's not the bank statements. She buys as much if not more shit, like shoes, music, gadgets, etc. It's the space. I'm running out of storage, and I don't want to have to box stuff up in a storage unit, because then, what's the point?

My only vices are toys (mostly pricy, larger Transformers, and Joes) and Blu-Rays. It's not like we're spending our entire paychecks on this crap, either. Other than a few splurges throughout the year, I don't spend tons of money on other junk. $30-40 on Joes a month is about all I spend anymore. That's half a night out of drinking. Transformers have hit me harder this year, due to there being so many coming out at once, but they're the type of things that if you don't get them now, they'll only go up in price. In previous years, it's been 1-2 MPs a year, if that.

Well there is always risk ordering from China, but so far, I've ordered:

MP-01/02 heads
Kup heads
MP Thrust
MP Dirge
MP Ramjet

And they've all arrived without incident (ignoring a manufacturing delay or two).

So, with that track record, ordering Ratchet, Ironhide, and Sunstorm were pretty much no-brainers.

I wonder at what point the vast majority of my TF collecting dollars stopped going to Hasbro?!

if a 3rd party started making Joes like Jinx and Frostbite and Footloose etc, i'd buy from them...Hasbro can stick all their Dukes and SEs and CCs and Destros up their a$$ with all their MP Prime repaints

Incredible review! hehehe..wish i can digress a bit to get these 3rd party seekers, budgets really tight. Glad you added those alternity bees, they really need some spotlight.

If only these things are more affordable like joes :)
